yep tie em down or get a bigger grow area, but definitely don't cut them.

How do you not have a way to get a microscope, if you have a way to grow bud you have a way to get to a store.

go to radioshack and buy a 60-100x handheld lighted microscope and check the trichomes, google or search the forum for trichome stage pictures. I prefer mine mostly cloudy with a only a few per 50 amber, creates a more cerebral high.

another thing if your water temps are too high ad 1part hydrogen peroxide to 10 parts water... the higher the temps the lower the oxygen in your water... but I've never heard of using more co2 if the temps are higher, I wouldn't think that would help any cause you don't want your co2 levels too...

my temps are at 85 with lights on and 80 with light soff and my plants are doing great... as long as your water temps are around 65-70 you're fine...

a lot of the type of high has to do with strain too, the time of harvest has most to do with thc potency...

I would wait maybe another week yet, like mjstudent said at least 50% amber bulbs and it doesn't look like they are all swollen to capacity yet... patience is a virtue!

as far as costs go don't rule out the fact that water power nutes time and little odds and ends will cost money through out your grow don't forget...
