    The mites that spun a web inside the pest strip, did they live or die off after a few days? I wonder on the oils/wash products if its the ingredients or the fact the bottom of the leaves are getting wet.

    I would ph it, No problem with sulfuric/battery acid as long as its new, Been using it for 40 years and so do alot of growers, It doesn't take much and yes you add acid to water not the other way around.

    First link I sent was the ph meter, The second link I sent was a ppm meter, I purchased both and have been real happy, also replaceable electrodes are available for both.

    I do not think the op is looking for ph up or down or calibration fluid, He is probally looking for the red regeant drops used with a liquid ph test kit or a home made version of the drops?

    My tap is 120 ppm, 1/4 tsp of the Jacks and 1/8 tsp of the calnit per gallon takes me to 550 ppm. It may not have a fancy label or a high price tag but it rocks, I wouldn't use anything else.
