I have a 400w mh running in my closet hanging about 13 inches above the pots. Both wide 1 gallon pots but I didn't have enough ocean forest to completely fill them. But they are filled enough. I just got done pushing the two seeds an inch into the soil dampening the soil every 10-15 minutes...
