Trying High Pressure Aeroponics for the first time.

Very nice...I am wondering how large of plant size you are planning? These are two root balls grown in a twenty gallon tub and the plants where going on six foot tall with 1 1/2 inch stalk at base to give you an idea how large the root systems get. The root systems like to follow the drain back...

Experienced in ebb & flow, considering aeroponics.

I have been using my own home made aeroponic system for two years now. Your assumptions on root mass is correct. I sometimes laugh at the products being sold because they don't have the room for the root system. My plants get huge and the root system does too, enough to clog a 3/4 inch drain. I...

    Aeroponics?

You can check out my blog and see what I have been doing for the last two years. It works! http://myaeroponics.com

    Planning my first grow (Aeroponics)

For the last year I have been using BMO nutrients. Blue Mountain Organics can be found on ebay. Not bad priced and they work. I use 2/3 strength and add about a cap full everyday. I use a ppm meter to monitor the nutrient level between 225 to 250 ppm. My pump is 1000gph. No Clogs in one year. I...

Opinions on my first Aeroponics grow?

I run my ppm at 225 to 250 with no tip burn. They sure like that fresh water.

    Soil, Aeroponics, Hydroponics?

There is no doubt that outdoors rocks all the way around...Indoors a little different all the way around too. Soil can be a pain too indoors. I use to transport dirt, now it is just water...MyAeroponics

    Soil, Aeroponics, Hydroponics?

no matter what you have to visit your plants, except outdoors. But even then a visit from time to time is good, or just curiosity sets in. I use to grow in soil and now aeroponics. The costs are not that bad for any if you put a system together that works. Daily maintinance is required for any...

    Clarification on Aeroponics

Good luck with that set up. The roots should at least make it to the tubs. My roots will get up to 5 foot in length. Also expect to see the alpha plant to take over for space stunting the others roots. Only time will tell.

    Hydroponics maintenance help

Hi Ken, I use an aeroponic system I made and have been getting good to great results. Bend Brewer is correct. As far as the nutes go I would follow the fox farm schedule and use no more than a third of what is suggested. I use a ppm meter to keep my nutes at a consistent level and the tank full...

    aeroponics nute change/refill question

I myself keep my tank full and find I am adding about four gallons every five days or so. I use nothing but a PPM meter. Two things make me change out my tanks. One if the water looks brackish and if the PPM meter starts reading erratically and won't zero in on a reading of say 225. So far it...

    Hydroponics Evil?

I like my aeroponic garden. The lettuce is great. The tomatoes are awesome. The peppers are delicious and the Buds are sweet and tasty. All on the same system!

    Name the problem! Aeroponics@150ppm

What is your fresh water ppm before nutrients? Mine is 160ppm and when I add the recommended amount of nutrients at 2/3 strength my ppm only goes up to 250 to 260 ppm. I am using BMO nutrients. Am I confused or are you using hydroponics which I am sure would be no different in the formula. Can...

    Name the problem! Aeroponics@150ppm

I run my ppm in grow at 225-250 and the flower at 250 - 300. I get leaves like that but it is from the transfer from clone to grow stage. The leave will stay alive and not drop off till well in the flower stage. If I am looking at the plants right they look green on the bottom and yellow or not...

    Real world Hi-Pressure Aeroponics

What size systems are you guys running? Must be huge to have to use so much pressure. I am doing micro spray systems and am having great results using a 130 watt pump that delivers 1000 gph. I have no idea what the preassure is but if I were to take a guess maybe 40psi at most. But the spray...
