So it seems some kind of mold is growing on the roots of my plants. the plants themselves look really healthy but the grey fuzz is getting bigger. Is this something i should worry about? if so how can i remedy the situation? I am using a stealth hydro system with general hydroponic liquid...
my cat will stop at nothing to eat my plants. one time he ate all my plants down to the stalks but they grew back and still made some killer smoke. so far i have found nothing to prevent my cat from eating my crops other than a locked door.
I think it takes a few weeks before it releases the pollen. the males usually show their sex before the females do so you should be able to chop them down before they become a problem
i had a harvest do the exact same thing. it was pretty upsetting. I think it is some type of mold cause i never saw any bugs in it. Anyway, i ended up making some pretty good hash out of it using the isopropyl alcohol method. I found most of the info somewhere on this site and i watched a few...
i do this with the leftover trimmings and stems from every grow. just put em in a bottle of everclear and wait a few weeks till it turns greenish brown . i like to mix it with lemon/lime soda. just dont drink too much
I have trimmed the pollen sacs on hermis that i grew and it worked fine. I had to check my plants every few hours and i still got a few seeds but not as much as if i had let them be. I have also used hermi plants for cooking and making honey oil.
I use the stealth hydro bubbleponics system and i think its great. you could build one yourself if you wanted to but this is nice cause it has EVERYTHING in one package and it all works just fine.
