4 plants under 300watts of CFL's has been workin for me. I don't see why they couldn't do under a 4foot floro. Just get some small 6000k cfls too

theres not just the bulb type (which you should get 6500k for vegging) but i actually had to use 42w 3000k CFL's for vegg and they worked GREAT! :-D theres also a hell of a lot of information you need to read in the GROWFAQ up at the top of each page the link is available.. start there and then...

sure you CAN, but you should put more :-D, start it an inch or 1 1/2 inch away from the seedling, make sure u have a fan blowing on it slightly.
