I will ph up and maybe flush it first. Make sure u know what the ph of water ur using to flush with. So if your tap is naturally alkaline there really isnt a need to use any ph up. U could try to stablize it at 7 so it wont eat up all the remaining nitrogen. Flushing never hurts just watch the ph
