I understand what your saying with the CFL's...I've just never had a problem with them at all when it came to the auto's. Like you said normal plants do grow a lot larger and I believe I did let them grow a little too big. I have more CFL's that I can throw in there but they aren't the same...

So I have about 6-8 grows under my belt and this time I wanted to change it up. I went with photoperiod plants instead of Auto-flowers. Granted as I said prior its my first time so I am a little new to the whole switching the lights and everything because I didnt have to worry about that before...

It's possible to do it, I usually average about 1oz off of each plant (which are auto's). I'm currently about to harvest my next grow and I have to say that they're the best I've done so I am thinking they will hold more than an OZ each which will be amazing. Looks like your doing a very good job on your first grow. I'm going to + sub to it and continue to watch. I learned everything from the grows on here and posted my first grow and it turned out pretty nice. I hope that after you put them in bigger pots your first grow continues to run smooth...

I've done it with x 2 85 watt CFL's (350watt) equiv bulbs just check out my sig

I was pretty surprised how great they came out as well. I did run into the problem where they lacked nutrients from those flowering tablets because the flowering cycle took a little bit longer on the #2 than the 1st one. I just put a little bit of a flowering tablet in #2 and it bounced back...
