wats up kush master just thought i would send a comment incase of any problems i could help u with, ive been growing for about 2 years now and have had some great product. i grow in soil, perilite, and im running a passive 5 gal resivor. havent used coco yet so figured it would be nice to exchange info with someone who has. sent a friend request so hopefully we can help eachother produce some great buds

I really dont think there is such a thing as "bad" nutes. The thing with nutes, is that you just dont want to overdo it, or give them the wrong kind. In general, you can pretty much skip the high Nitrogen nutes due to the very short veg period.

Anything high in "P" is what you want, in fact I just use bone meal in my soil (pure P) and some Schultz 10-15-10 from walmart and it does great. You can go spend tons of money on nutes if you want, but I really dont think you will regain the money spent in yield. Just always do half strength, whatever nutes you choose, and dont start giving any till about 2 weeks or whenever they show sex.

I would not recommend topping any autos. I have tons of experience with Diesel Ryders, in fact I have seven 40 day old, and seven 3 day old Diesel Ryders going right now. I have topped a couple, and never will again.

If you were to top that plant, you would end up with up to 24 tops or even more, which would be a good thing if you had months and months to flower it. But with AF plants, they flower so fast that you would end up with lots of small top buds that would weigh less total than if you had not topped the plant.

So im my opinion, with Deisel Ryders especially, let em grow naturally. I have yielded 3/4oz avg in 2 liter soda bottles, and 1.5oz avg in 1gal grow bags. I have seen guys pull 3oz off of them in 5gal buckets, but that is with very nice lights, soil and nutes, or hydroponics.
