This is gonna be goooooood. :)
Personally, the real deal Bubba is the only mainstream "kush" that does it for me. OG and her kin have never impressed me to be honest, and I've had some nicely grown samples.
But the Bubba? yes, please. I love the coffee aroma/taste. Maybe this one will taste...
CO2 is the shit. I keep it low until the stretch is all finished and bud set has begun. Then they get 1000ppm, I haven't seen much difference between 1000 and 1500ppm so I figure I'll myself some money in the long run using less gas. Then I cut it back to 350ppm three weeks before harvest. So...
It's not necessary to use coco. However, if you just use peat moss, dolomite lime should be used at 1 cup per cubic foot of mix to buffer pH and you will need to amend for K, kelp meal is a great amendment for this.
It was ascorbic acid (vitamin C) that I was thinking of that neutralizes chloramine, though I'm unsure of how much to use.
I had great results with R/O after I started supplementing with CaMg+ and epsom salts. But straight R/O? Always deficient.
Also, my tap water has chlorine in it too. I just bubble it in a big garbage can for 24 hrs before use and it's just fine. If you're worried about chloramine, I believe there is a very easy solution as well that doesn't require filtering but it escapes me at the moment. Just do your homework on...
Classic magnesium deficiency, yellowing from edges of leaves moving in eventually dying and dropping. Also calcium def. rust spots. Yield also suffered because of it. These problems went away completely when I started supplementing CaMg and then eventually switched back to tap water.
I just read this whole thread and didn't see a recommended dosage. Maybe I missed it?
Sub, if I made a batch per your directions, what would be an "in the ball park" recommended dosage for a bigger guy that medicates with TGA gear every day? Couple drops? Full dropper? Two droppers?
Have you tested your tap water for pH and TDS? I fussed with R/O water and CaMg supplements for a year with super soil before switching back to tap water. It works great, 220ppm pH 8 out the faucet. AN pH down to 6.8-ish and it works beautiful. I give them a tsp/gal of General Organics CaMg+ and...

These are the pots I use. I measure out my soil with a true 1 liquid gallon pitcher and the 7's and 10's hold their true value, though I leave a few inches open at the top for future top dressing.
