i grow a few strains that i have found are usually more "airy" as you call them, there is a product called GRAVITY humbolt puts it out, using this very lightly a few weeks before harvest always brings my nugs in very very tightly and that sort of spiraly rose look to them...........but yeah bad...

honestly i dont know if risking cutting off certain nugs would be worth sending your plants into a shock and losing the new guys, i would just harvest everything when your pistils are like 80 percent colored, i would just be happy with your grow wich looks very good by the way, maybe cut off...

as long as you arent actually trying to yield nugs, then you should be fine using those lights, i would prefer a HPS or at least a metal halide, but as long as you have substantial light to keep them green and healthy and NEW growth is constnatly forming on top you should be...
