A friend of mine is growing outdoor in the uk in compost pots. Im awae that the redening of the stalks is due to cold weather but so leaves are going yellow and dying/brown and curling up. Any help is appreciated!

Okay i will get one tomorrow. If it is too high or low what should I do? Ive read about using ph up and down but no where local stocks it and it will take a week too get here! Can plants die from the wrong ph? I'm panicking tbh

Apologies it just says multi purpose compost with add john innes. No nutrient information on the packet either for some reason!

@Fishheadguts My autos are lacking in Calcium in their 4th week of flower and I read that well diluted milk is a good source of it(I'm a broke student or I'd buy nutes). Hopefully will sort the porblem!

How could you tell they were overwatered once Diabolical? I did once during veg but curious how you knew!

I added epsom salts mixed with tap water after I added the milk solution although I don't know how much they absorbed as I only watered them yesterday. I will do the same in a day or two and see how they are looking. Thanks for the advice!

Also the yellowing of the bottom leaves, is that normal? I think I'm about 3/4 weeks out from harvesting so I'm not sure if now is too early for the leaves to be yellowing, or is that due to the calcium also? I appreciate all advice.

Thanks for your reply. I am not I'm using tap water just but I've never had any adverse effects. I just made a very mild milk solution to use as I cant afford any nutes right now! I'll see how she looks in a few days. Should I expect the brown spots to disappear if the problem has been addressed...
