Afghan Kush Ryder 250w HPS Grow

Everything is dried nicely now and is slowly curing away. I got 60g all together, so basically an 1oz per plant. The phenotypes were very different: -One was definitely sativa dominant (70-30) with it's long thin buds and the high is so different from the indica body stone I'm used to. It was...

the difference between photoperiod & autoflowering strains?

Autoflowers are weaker than regular strains because only one of the parents is a true cannabis plant, the other is ruderalis. Autoflowering plants start flowering after about week without the need to change the light timings. This feature is handy when growing outdoors because it means you don't...

Thanks dude! You should have commented :) The bong hit wasn't that harsh, surprisingly. Didn't get much of a taste because my glass bong broke so I had to use a crappy clogged up pipe.

I'm an impatient fuck so I harvested them today. It looks ages! The buds have an almost overwhelming pine smell. Here's how much I got (one of the buds is nearly 2ft!): I got one small bud drying quickly on my radiator just dying to packed into a bong. I'll probably be back with a mini smoke...

Female Seeds Co. Auto AK 1st Grow!! :D

Nice little harvest, especially for a first grow. The buds will shrink a lot once they are dried but that's just life. Tip: When drying keep your buds in the dark constantly. UV light breaks down THC.

They are both nearly done to my liking now. I'd say about 90% of the hairs are orange and receding. I could harvest them now but I like doing the 48 or 72 hour dark period. Sorry I couldn't get any pictures, I've been super busy today. So I'll be harvesting on day 55, see you then!

I've got fucking pinky/purple buds! I'm so stoked as it's the first time my one of my grows has coloured. I didn't really notice it until I shined my phone light on it. I'm hoping it'll get more intense over the next few days and then even more intense once they've been cured. You can see how...

Stopped feed nutes a few days ago so it's just water from now on. I gotta be honest, I expected much fuller buds. All the buds on one plant look really thin and not compact, almost like what you get on a pure sativa. The other plants buds are fuller, you can see the difference in the pictures...

    cold

Lower temperatures mean lower kinetic energy which means reactions take place slower which means slowed growth. 66 is a normal night time temperature so it shouldn't have a significant difference on plant growth. The only good thing about cold temperatures is that it can bring out the colours of...

    Slow Growth

Unless you've got supersoil you need nutrients for growth, it's basic biology. The plant isn't that big but the bud development for 4 weeks of flowering is what you should be expecting really. What type and power lights are you using?

Haha thanks! I wouldn't say I'm great, just resourceful with what I've got available. The fact I did biology and biochemistry for years helps a bit as wekk :)

Leaves still going yellow so gave extra nitrogen in feed. This shit normally always happens towards the end anyway so it's no big deal. You can see that the buds on one of the plants are a lot thinner than the other one, I hope they turn out alright.

Seedling leaf problem. 'wrinkly' leaves. (pictures)

The soil is lightly packed and ph is around 6.8

I noticed the leaves starting to yellow so I have them some extra fish-mix for the nitrogen. It could be Mg deficient but I'm not sure. They are starting to really smells now and my grandma is coming up tomorrow, which should be fun
