I'm running a 4×8 tent. I see in my the comments that your 9 cob has a 4x4 coverage but I see you largest is the 6 cob. Will you be getting in the 9cob anytime soon and how much do they run.

We stopped offering the 9 COB light from our line up and are moving towards smaller enclosures, hence the addition of our latest Citizen 2 COB lights. Our customers tell us that spreading the COB's out a bit provides better uniform coverage. The 9 COB was very intense in the center but not at the edges. Send me an email with what your looking for and I'll toss in some free stuff. [email protected]

Hello sir. I'm considering adding another tent to the two I already have, just something small like a 3x3 I'm in the market to try something other than the HID's I'm currently using. Currently trying to decide between LED or LEC,CMH. From a little reading it seems your 4 cob would do the trick in that size of a space. How many amps does the 4 cob unit pull?

        Hi Arkitecht,
Thank you for checking out our lights. The 4 COB light draws about 2 Amps off of a 110 outlet.

Tried the Riu discount on your sight, was going to purchase the 4 pack of the 200w 4 cob.. The discount didn't work, do you have a new working code?

The discount code only works on individual units. The 4 pack is already 25%off, so no additional discount could be applied.

Still kinda new here but my 400w hps gets my closet grow way too hot and I want to switch to the LED, can you let me know how much heat it gives off and if one unit is good for a 3x5 area? Thanks and awesome work!

I would go with two of the 4 COB lights. They each provide solid 3x3 coverage. With the RIU15 discount the cost would be $916. They don't give off much heat, it would only raise your temp about 7-10 degrees above room temperature. I'm not sure what your budget is, but the 6 COB light would be my second choice at $679 with the discount.

Cool, I can't wait to see some new designs. I think one of the advantages of cods is to spread them out but everybody is cramming them in a 15 to 20 inch square. In a few months I'll have two 3.5x3.5 foot tents going and want 850 ppf avg. for the canopy. Thanks.

if you are looking to hit a PPF of 850 our 9 COB has a PPF of 1002 (Grow Area: 4’ x 4’ = 16 sq-ft = 1,49 M2, PPFD of 673 x 1.49M2) the more you spread out the lights the lower your PPFD which is a measure of PPF over 1 square meter.

You can try the light and if your not happy with the results, just return it for a refund, we give you 180 days. I'm confident you will be impressed.

Any plans to make a 4 cob strip about 3 feet long? What is the spacing distance between cobs?
      1. GoGreenLEDs
        GoGreenLEDs
We have some different designs in development, among them is a long strip that can be daisy chained to create an array. On our current design the COBs are spaced about 5.25" on center. The lenses concentrate the light on a 3'x3' coverage area at 18" above the canopy.
