i like to top, if u are limited with space topping makes wonders. u can top for 2 or four colas. light hits each cola better which increases ur yield. here is a pic of results of topping

roots grow all around the pot and run out off room to grow. which prevents them from growing biggger..

first node gives u 2 colas second node gives u 4 colas

just remember first true node is the one with first set of leaves with 3 tips. second node one up lol
