I would go with 2 pushing and 2 pulling.i would also set them offset and not directly across from each other, that way it can cause movement.

I am using sunleaves wind tunel 409 cfm and no louder then a box fan on full blast,keeps my tent with 2 1000 watts at 72 temp hope this helps.

All i can speak from is my experience,my plants luv it and i am very hands on.start to finish have not seen no effects but i am sure it really is not good.
