The girls are about 8-9 weeks into flowering..I've harvested 1 and its all good but I wanted to leave the others for a little while to get that "body stone" but I checked one today and there are a couple of quite well developed pollen sacs..not many but enough to make me worry.

just to clarify..i was using estimates as i really couldn't be arsed workin out the ACTUAL percentages..merely a guideline to show how successful i believe the soaking method to be. i am about 3 days into flowering now and they look/smell great! now to find the males and axe em'

i had heard that 12/12 from seed might lead to the dreaded "HERMIES" as well cos the plant thinks its comin up to autumn and so tries to reproduce in the absence of males..makes sense and yet...
i used about 4-5 seeds for each method..some of the seeds might not have been viable still and maybe thats why they didnt germinate but if your seeds are still good the pre-soaking method seems to make them sprout so much faster!
held a bit of an experiment there to see for myself which germination method worked best..i used 3 methods for my current grow:
-paper towel method (30% germination)
-pre soaking in glass of water (95% germination)
-just plain planting in soil (0% germination)

i want my plants to be short and bushy and had heard that the way to do this was to top my plants at the 5-6 node stage and give them 12/12 from seed. what are the pros and cons of this method?

so you think temperature might have something to do with it? hmmm theres more to this growing than people think! i got 4 bagseeds i have been saving for a while and i just hope they arent all male...if they ever get their ass above ground that is.
