Nice grow with the 357 magnums. How do you keep the temps down from the lights? I'm going to be growing in a tent 4x4x6.5 . One for flowering and one for veg.

alright mate whats the craic...i was hoping you might be able to help me out...im currently in the middle of an LED grow myself...and ive noticed that the leaves at the top of the plant have started getting really light coloured the more shaded parts are a healthy green..but it seems as if the light is affecting the leaves colour? other then a nute defieceny, would you have any explanation for it?

can the LEDs effect the plant like that? and if so is it something i should be worried about

hmm lemme get this clear for myself.. glh would be 3w/3chip which is not "3w" single diode.. like the magnum?
And how much single 3w diodes do themagnum have? it seems like its not filled all the way, and i read somewhere that there are 1 watters on there too.. correct me if im wrong.
and is the magnum drawing only 180 watts? or 357 watts?

How are those magleds? i thought it was 357 actualy power draw but i see somewhere on the site that it says 180w. I was thinking about buying it - how were the yields? u had 1 light on 6 plants am i correct?

that's their new 2011 model... but draws 290 actual watts..so should that be better than the magled since it says it draws only 180 actually watts? unless im wrong and it draws 357 watts or close to it..

I ordered by phone and it came out to 2180 US$ - I assumed it was 699.99 CAD each, but I still thought it came out a bit higher than I was expecting. As far as shipping, well he said approximately a week, which is plenty fast enough for me, I'll be impressed assuming they work near expectations.

Awesome! What site did you order them off or was it by phone? Just wondering if the pricing is any different through different channels or what they do for shipping. I got mine quick. Like a week and it was christmas time.

So I have 3 357's on their way - cant wait to see what they can do!

Okay thanks, I will be calling them soon. Right now I have 2 1000w HPS plugged into a MLC-4X master lighting control box with 240 already wired to it. So if these LEDs will plug into the box, that would be the most convenient considering the current setup. I was also considering using a 600 HPS with the 3 LEDs over a 4 x 8 => do you think this is overkill? Awesome looking grow btw.

The guy I dealt with the most was Dave although Darren and Jeff were both on the ball too. If you call after regular business hours the line usually rings directly to Dave's voice mail so I'm guessing hes the main guy. I know they ship to the US cause I have a buddy in New Jersey that just ordered some. They have a european power configuration so they definately have a 220 power option but just curious why you wouldn't stick with 110 as its just way safer.

I'm very impressed with your grow so far and I'm very interested in buying 3 of the magnums today. I was going to replace 2 * 1000w over a 4*8 area with the 3 magnums. I wanted to ask if there was anyone in particular to call and talk to or if you had any words of advice prior to me purchasing these LED lights. Also do they ship to cali and do they hook up to 220 by chance?
