i actually use the bloom the last 2 weeks of veg because it has a good amount of trace nutes in it that will be beneficial during the veg stage, with a true living soil, the microbes will help store and properly use the nutrients..

thanks for the reply! another question, if it is my last resort, is it ok to have my carbon filter outside of the tent? ill have the fan inside cooling my hood then ducting out to the carbon filter outside the tent.. is it ok to "blow" air as opposed to "sucking"? i will have a 440 cfm inline..
