How much space are you looking to use in your closet? All of it or some of it? Also how much money are you thinking of spending? To start, I would say start browsing the Grow FAQ, there is a lot of helpful information in there for new growers. Also, go to google and search closet grows. It will pull up web links to all kinds of websites and that way you can see what different growers are doing with their closets. I can't figure out how to pm you either. I think you have to have more posts or something. That could be my only guess since I'm able to send them to other people. Any how, I don't know what you mean by a fold out closet? And when I say popping seeds, I'm talking about when the seedling sprouts. And about CFLs, it depends on how many lights you have, and the amount of watts their pushing. There are sub threads on this site about growing with CFL's. I would do some research there because I'm not that experienced with them. Some argue they can pull off the same weight as a HPS but I really don't know because I haven't flowered with CFL's ever. I do know they are much better for closets though cause it gets really hot inside and you want your temp around 72 -78. A 400w MH will bring it up to 90-100.
