I have been successful with a vertical fluro grow, and you will be too.

Nobody Seriously? I guess i should of posted in grow room design, but i thought this was more of a general question, come on RIU, i know there are some smart mo fo's on here.

oh, and it looks like there might be covers on your long fluro tubes, i always take that crap apart so my plants get all 360 degrees of the light, think it is a lot better than using a reflector. your setup looks like it could benefit from that.

smart move man, i have great results when i put my fluro's vertical during veg, mentioned it on here b4. They will fill out soon enough maybe add a couple compacts so they don't stretch.

Would the mineral Calcite "amplify" light any? I remember calcite would cause an effect known as birefringence and I have been searching on line for a while to find this answer. Anyone out there know if i you could double artificial/natural light with this stuff, thanks in advance.

I actually love salvaging things. I find that another mans trash is usually my treasure. There is nothing like making something functional from scraps. Most of my grow rooms are from salvaged parts.
