I have not had good results with MG but, there are lots of people who have. I would stay away from the moisture control.

I use MG Organic and perlite at a ratio of 2:1 MGO to perlite when I can't afford Happy Frog or Royal Gold Basement and Mendo Mix

Idk if they sell it at Lowe's but they sold it at Home Depot. It's a big bottle of liquid b-12, and it's only $5.
B-12 isn't good for much until you transplant. I water my plants with b-12 before and after I transplant them to reduce transplant shock and it works like a charm. Not bad for $5. Also the have something called Alaska Fish Fertilizer (Natural Organic Based) 5-1-1.
It stinks to high hell but it's good for when you plants start showing a nitrogen def. and need a boost. Also think about getting some river rocks, or some of those big lava rocks. Hell you could use landscping rocks from the front yard, but they're cheap at the store too (hell you could use straight perlite if you want). Put the at the bottom of the pots to better aid drainage.
Hope this helps a little.

Just got back.... I got some Miracle Grow Perlite, Sta-Green Seed and SOD Starter Soil.... and 2 Huge bags of Organic Soil called Hapi Gro... It was only $3 a bag, and they were these HUGE bags of compost and the other was some landscaping one..... and a $2 organic one with Cow Manure....... Those 2 Hapi Gro, and the cow manure one are for my Outdoor grow.... Mix it with my Soil, as it it already pretty good, but it needs compost, and a little perlite to air it out a bit.... I'd grow them in 5 or 7 gallon pots, but idk.... Think im gonna plant them straight into soil after my plants are like a foot tall from indoors to out...... Leave them 2 days or so somewhere under a tall tree, so they get just a grew hours of direct sun a day, and wont be shocked or stunned by full sun and the environment.... Then to full sun they go...... Hopefully all goes well....

I also bought this Soil PH Meter, and the little fucker doesnt work.... It was 20 bucks, but oh well.... Might try to return it.......... Does anyone know of any good soil testers i can get online?... I also need a water ph tester, as in i get fed up of checking it with the dropper and tube method.... its not as accurate as i would like..... pretty much reads by .5 increments... and sometimes 6.5 looks like 5.0 in different lightings.... it's bs....

I ALMOST bought those big red lava rocks.... Now I regret putting them back..... I was actually gonna try and use them as hydroton, but thought i might just make a mess trying to break them into smaller pieces...lol.... THERE IS NO HYDROTON ANYWHERE NEAR!! :(.... Costs alot to buy it online, but im gonna have to, i guess... and I heard using Rocks or those Lava rocks at the bottom of the buckets was a bad idea.... I had thought of doing that also, but then i saw a site where the guy says it's a common mistake ppl make, because roots gro down trying to find water, and there is none, because it has all been drained away... and because plants can dry up in a matter of minutes if you someway forget to water them, and having just soil is pretty much a line of defense just in case you did forget to water, it should spare you a few more hours, if not days, depending on the bucket size.... but again.... I dont find myself being away from my plants for that long, so i might do it, buy i would never if they were for an outdoor grow..... Unless it's a 10 gallon bucket with just an inch of rock or perlite at the bottom... Having a saucer w a little water is always a good idea too..

got some Green Light Rooting Hormone Powder to test it out, and see if it can clone me some bad boys....... just 5 bucks.(Has anyone tried this?.. any luck?).....

I was looking for Organocide for insects, and for powdery mildew and all that stuff, but no luck...... I had gotten some last time, but it was the ready to use, and this time i wanted the concentrated kind, but nothing....

Was also looking for a 6 inch Booster fan for my cooltube for now, till i get my inline fan, but they also didnt have that, even though they had them on the lowes website

i use the rooting powder from lowe's. it seems to work good. those 6" booster blowers suck. i had 2 of them hooked up. 1 on air cooled hood and another 1/2 way from hood to exhaust vent. worked ok but not good enough. i bought the fan/filter combo from htg and a controller. now my temps are good and i have the fan turned down some. some hydro store carry soil ph meters, but if not ebay or amazon for the ph and ppm meters. the hydro shop by me, said they havent found many soil ph meters that work at all. they only carry 1 that they have found to read the soil ph correct. havent bought it, not sure it i will or will not buy 1.

go to a land scape place take your garbage can if you dont have a truck get some mushroom soil or compost and some blood meal bone and potash. and your way better then mg. prob with mg is its all chemicals. once you water it it starts working. the more you water the more get released. once thats gone your plants f,ed. if you water to much and burn your plant your f,ed. its just not good. read sub cool super soil. go find as much of it as you can. make changes to what you can find dont us mg. unless your growing from seed for 2 weeks and gowing right to flower then it will work. but you wont get super nice nugs.

for the guy with the ph metter it works. you just gotta clean it super clean. best way to check to make sure it works. if you take vinger and a hand full of soil in a cup pour the vinger over it and it fizzes its alkalid ph higher then7 if it dont take a new hand full mix up some water and baking soda pour it over your soil if it fizzes your acdic. ph lower the 7. easy way to test if you think you meters off. those metters are tricky. i have a few cause i thought they where broke and just got new ones. only to find out i neede new bat and to clean them.
