| | the best damn cannabis nutrients around | | Have we established if it’s a soil grow or hydro? Depending on the grow medium, there are a number of excellent products to help you grow robust, healthy buds, the kind that give you the ultimate smoking experience. If you’re prepared to spend a little extra and you like the idea of going organic, I’ve had great results with Iguana Juice, Grow and Bloom. Exactly the two bottles you asked for. Advanced Nutrients Medical has a link to their Nutrient Calculator, which will tell you exactly week by week how much liquid to mix into your reservoir. You can use Iguana Juice, whether you’re growing in soil, or in water. For strictly a hydro grow, I’d recommend Sensi Grow, A & B and Sensi Bloom, A & B, which were developed by the research scientists at Advanced Nutrients specifically for growing cannabis. I’m using them right now in my six bucket ebb and flow setup, and the measuring and mixing is no big deal, really, as long as you follow the instructions. Don’t let the fact that it comes in two parts put you off. When it comes to Sensi Grow, you merely mix 2.6 mL/L of this 5-2-6 NPK fert and you’ll be feeding your cannabis plants not only the three basic macronutrients, but many assorted micronutrient compounds as well. It’s guaranteed to outperform the competition. If not completely satisfied, you get your money back. Sensi Bloom has the same application rate (2.6 mL/L) but it’s NPK is different, 5-4-8. If you anything about ferts, you’ll know that Nitrogen makes up 5% of the concentrate, Phosphorus 4%, and Potassium 8%. When your plants are in flower, they require a different ratio of these macronutrients, than when they’re in the vegetative stage. Now if a 2-part is too complicated for you, there’s always Sensi One Grow and Sensi One Bloom, which are still high yielding ferts, but a bit less cutting edge than the two-part. It’s a concentrated powder fert, designed to dissolve easily in your hydro grow. All Advanced Nutrients ferts, by the way, can be used interchangeably for hydro or soil grows, whatever your need. If you’re a medpot patient and have motor impairment or mobility issues, you may want to consider using EPN Sensi Pro, a superbly engineered, calibrated pouch system, where all you need is a pair of scissors to slit open the foil pouch containing the pre-measured, pre-mixed formula week by week, for the complete vegetative and flowering cycle of your medical cannabis plants. You asked about Voodoo Juice. This product is a rhizosphere microbial colonizer, which means that the live microorganisms contained in Voodoo Juice will occupy the space between your roots and the medium they grow in, all in a very beneficial way. Your roots will thrive and they’ll be better able to absorb the nutrients that you feed them. Voodoo Juice is best when used in conjunction with Piranha and Tarantula. The former product contains live beneficial fungi, while the latter live beneficial bacteria. They also colonize your root system to make them grow faster. Greater growth under ground means better growth above ground. In soil, you may use these products full strength. In hydro grows, especially if you also use SensiZym and Carbo Load Liquid, it is suggested that you only use Piranha, Tarantula, and Voodoo Juice half strength. Check the labels for application rates. Hope this helps in your dilemma about choosing a nutrient for your marijuana plants. Please visit my blogsite and the Advanced Nutrients Medical website, for further details. |

| | Jack's Classic is my favorite plant fertilizer. IMO, as long as you mix in a generous amount of dolomite lime into your soil blend, thats all you need!
If you can't get Jacks, I have had good results with Miracle Grow for tomatoes for veg, And I like Peter's super blossom booster for flowering. Miracle Grow Bloom booster is good also....just use in very dilute mix.

| | As I’ve mentioned before, all Advanced Nutrients products can be used to grow cannabis in any medium, whether it’s soil, hydro, aeroponics, what have you. Using a hydro fert in soil won't hurt your plants! When someone says that Peter’s “Jack’s Classic” 20-20-20 or Miracle Grow 20-20-20 are “great ferts,” you have to take that with a huge grain of salt. They might be “great ferts” for Granny’s houseplants, but they’re too generalized for cannabis. Only Advanced Nutrients provides years of research and knowledge and products that are species specific, that is they’re aimed at cannabis only. Once you use the generic products, especially in soil, you have no choice but to live with the excessive amount of Nitrogen for instance. So if you experience tip burn, your choices are limited. You can try to flush the fert out of the soil, but the extra water will only make your plants suck up the fert faster. With these generic products, your buds will be fluffy, not frosty, as they should be. With Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A & B, and Sensi Bloom A & B, on the other hand—products that were specifically engineered for growing marijuana—your buds will be huge and the amount of resin will amaze you! If you additionally use Bud Blood, Big Bud, and Overdrive—in sequence only, during the flowering stage—the size of your harvest will surprise you and the potency of your plants will be staggering! I’ve spoken to a number of medpot growers who have used the generics suggested in these postings, and they’ve said, yeah, they’ll grow the plants, but the quality—in comparison to cannabis grown with Advanced Nutrients products—is of a poor grade, indeed. Visit the Advanced Nutrients Medical website and learn all about their whole line of cannabis-specific nutrients and supplements. You’ll be glad you did! And don't forget to visit my blogsite for further information. |

| | That is pure puffery and nonsense^^^^
IMHO, expensive fertilizers are a waste of money.
I have been growing buds for a very long time and have tried almost everything available until I realized I was simply wasting money.
The best results I have obtained are from simple fertilizers.
lol,lol my buds are not frosty, because I use Jack's....hahah
Sorry Wes, you have absolutely no idea of what you are speaking, and are obviously shilling for an inferior overpriced product!
Here is an unfrosty plant which ate only Miracle Grow Tomato and Peter's Super Blossom Builder.
The outdoor plants were fed only Jack's

Vi, would you put jacks against foxfarm and advanced? I use gorw big 6-4-4 for veg and I get about 3 inches every week of tight nodes. plants are 8" now with like 7 sets of nodes off the main stalk. I get about 1 1/2" in the first day of giving nutes and around 1 - 1 1/2" for the rest of the week. if you say it is good, I might try it for my flowering. I rock Kool Bloom and am interested in switching. was looking at foxfarm open sesame and beestie bloom for density. drop me a line so we can talk about it. PEACE!
