my last post sounds wrong!im gettn my stuff under the table as in im getn it at his cost&tax free.some nutrients i dont even know how to use slipped into the box!

Hey man nice grow the shop lights were a good investment even if you plan on flowering with HPS in the future... the floros are great for veg and clone. Im just about to finish my first grow. more or less for the same reason as you, weed in the northeast is expensive. anyway i thought id share some of my learnings from my first cfl grow. One, and i think this is most important, realize that with CFLs your gonna need to keep the size of each plant somewhat short and even to maximize the intensity (or lack of) of the lights. I made the mistake of growing a bush that would have been great for HPS flowering but not ideal for floros. I vegged to about 1.5 maybe 2ft tall then flowered and it stretched to about 5ft. Anyway just thought id post a pic of where im at now. Tuesday will be 6 weeks into flower and this is an 8wk strain.

Looks pretty man, prolly gonna give these two anonther two weeks or so of veg. Have some NL Im waiting to get in the ground and dont reallly wanna waste a ton of time on bagseed and it ends up being male or subpar ya know.

hey nice grow so far man! lookin good...i to have some bagseed going as well along with some blue venom...the bagseed is at day 15 now and is looking veary simaler to yours, if you want to check it out

word up incognegro. they do make a 150watt hps! However i think you need a dual ballast to run MH/HPS out of the same hood. On another note are you still waiting for your beans from attitude? i dont know where u live but it took them about 8 days to arrive on the east coast. However i did order the tshirt shipping which guaranteed its delivery. I have a whitie widow x bigbud hybid from them im gonna run soon, after my AKxNYCD gets a run... two of the stinkiest strains.. right now what im growing smells like fruit / dryer sheets in flower its amazing it kinda smells like a girls body spray... but when you put your nose up to the buds it smells like skunkkkk.
This is directed more at kottonmouth, what benefits do you get out of a digi ballast rather than a magnetic one? im a HID noob but im switching over to a 400w hps for my next grow. im gonna get a magnetic because of the cheeeeeap cost. its 120 for acomplete 400w setup @ htgsupply. Or am i making a mistake by buying the lower cost light? how important is being 'name brand' in the lighting game? i really dont want to skimp on the essentials so if you have an idea let me know.

Got the beans about a week ago twenty went with NLxbig bud supposedly its a lower odor strain and thats what I was looking for. What I wanted was like one of those 150w sun systems light and just be able to switch out the bulb lol but they dont make those i think its 200 and up or maybe 250. Will prolly end up going led I like the idea of very lil heat output, however the big money for them fuckers kinda sucks
