HEY NOW! ... new journal. Fuck where to start. Here's what I'm working with right now....
2 Delicious Seeds- Fruity Chronic Juice
2 Nirvana- Bubblelicious
2 World of Seeds- Strawberry Blue
1 Sweet Seeds-Cream Caramel.
(*all seeds are fem*)
all seeds soaked in distilled water overnight. germed in a paper towel, sprouted in less than 24 hours.
Transferred to Jiffy Mix in 8 oz. styro cups, covered for two days and broke ground
starting with 30 watt 3000K CFL and 42 watt 2700K for all 6 . will eventually up the wattage during growth and transfer into my 2x4x5 tent under a 4ft 6tube T5 fixture...

I'm not sure how i'm going to do this grow yet. I'm going to be a bit selective as to what i choose to flower, also considering scrog, but due to different strains this may not work well ...
Nutes I'll be using ...
Fox Farm liquid trio
Superthrive ( for transplant and emergency situations)
PH up and down
Molasses

You'll notice I haven't listed any soil yet. I'm debating. I've gone with FF Happy Frog in the past, Roots Organic, and recently/finally FF Ocean Forest. I've also tried MG Organic but fuuuck that.
so feel free to join me and offer any advice as it's always appreciated!!
my first question would be... soil. I love Roots Organic. It's never given me trouble. But the recent batch of OF i used also gave me amazing results. .. Maybe i'll do both. Roots in veg and OF when i transplant before flower.....hmm

Just an update on my seedlings. Out of the two W.O.S. Strawberry Blue one didn't make it. It broke ground but never busted out of the seed. After a week out of the ground and all of my younger seedlings were progressing fine, this one would not break out of it's seed casing healthy stem but frozen ...... so i tried to help it along by splitting the seed a bit... long story short. I fucked it up. But, it wouldn't break the seed in over a week??? so .... i'll mark that up as a shitty bean also. I have one more Strawberry Blue left I may germ tonight, or just stick with one. I promise to post a pic of all the babies in a few moments.

How are things coming along, didn't know you bought some Strawberry Blue seeds.
Sorry about the second one, I've had that happen before... it sucks!

hell yeah man! ... that's what got me so interested in your journal. I only have one going right now as i stated above. but now that i transplanted all my seedlings into better soil and gave them some love they're coming along great. I will post pics at some point. Right now i feel like the little seedling are not much to look at for viewers.
But the Strawberry Blue is doing the best out of the rest ........ like i posted in your journal. It's got the fattest leaves out of any of my seedlings. Def looks like an indica growing, but i'm expecting that sativa high ,like you mentioned, to blow my brain cells up. Thanks for checking in. I will post pics SOON.

just an update on what the hell is going on in my journal. All seeds were off to a slow start. VERY SLOW. some lived ... a few died.
but an addition to the strains i have going above.. i've also started germing 1-Dinafem Roadrunner 2. 1- Dinafem automatic Haze. reason being ... well i've never grown and auto, and i'm going to need some meds quicker than it's gonna take to veg and flower my photoperiod seeds. and finally ( one of the strains i've been curous about because of it's Urkel parent) CH9- California fem.

As for my other seedlings .... it stands now at 2x Nirvana- Bubbleicious, 2x Delicious- Fruity Chronic Juice, 1 W.O.S- Strawberry Blue. 1 Sweet Seeds- Cream Caramel and 1 Reserva Privada- Cole Train.
I'm biting off more than i can chew i feel. But, I'm done fucking around. I'm going for yeild and variety in this grow. I'm also going for a perpetual grow. Hence all the strains. ALSO. i have that shitload of freebies from attitude this month.
I went in on an order with a friend and he's letting me keep the freebies. OH Paradise- Whiteberry is also going to be on the menu
....... fuck I have alot of info to post for those interested. I'm harvesting the last Cream Caramel flowers today. and after that is dry, cured and smoked..... No more flowers of my own to smoke for a while.... VERY SAD.

I BULLSHITTED ALOT IN MY LAST POST ABOUT PICS, SEEMS I'M DOING THE SAME WITH THIS. With my next post ( I'm hoping later today) I'll post pics of my flowered plant. And i'll give you an insight on the space these children are bout to go into. 2x4x5 tent. vegging under a 6 bulb 4 ft T5 fixture. hopefully all of my girls will be relocating today!!!!

FCJ2.jpggroup.jpgFCJ1.jpgCreamcaramel baby.jpgstrwbrryblue.jpgbblgum2 lst.jpgstrwberryblu.jpgcoletrain.jpgok ... here's round one of pics. They are shitty because ...well. I'm not a photographer using a photographers camera. so i didn't know how to adjust the proper settings .. anyways ...
I'll post more pics once they move into the tent. 4 plants are under 4x 27w 5500K cfls. Other three are under 2x 27 5500k and 1 23w 2700k.
Like i said before once they're in the tent they'll be under the T5 with 5 daylights and 1 warm. i broke a bulb. I'll have a pic of my flowering plant today before i chop it.
ALSO...fuck gotta ramble.....
My 2 Bubbleicious are starting to show some signs of a def or lockup. or burn. Problem is...all seedlings in the white pots are planted in Roots organic. The 2 bubblelicous are in OF. This is the second time i've had problems with FF soil early in growth. Both Happy Frog and OF need to be amended imo so far. or it's just too hot for the plants. or maybe i've overfed. I haven't started feeding them anything yet besides. 1 tblspn of molasses and 2 tblspn of FF Big Bloom per feeding. BB doesn't burn does it?

I'm gonna bet the nirvana bubblelicious don't auto. Also, I noticed my 2 were very sensitive to nutes. Take clones of the bubblelicious. Ull be able to, cuz it's not an auto. I did after mother didn't sex after 6 weeks in veg. Stems smell like grapefruit, and gum, buds are diesel like w gum as well

nirvana bubblelicious won't auto, and is very sensitive to nutes. In FFOF it won't need nutes till late in veg.

sounds good. Real good. I opted not to get the bubblelicious autos ... i just ordered fem. Figured if i get Bubbegum i might as well try and find good phenos to clone as opposed to the auto. Like you said.

Some advice for you, LAY OFF THE FERTILIZERS!!!

Especially at this early stage, all they need is RO water, light and air.

I think you read too much bull poop in my opinion.

Fox Farm Ocean Forest has all the nutrients your babies need.
Get those babies transplanted ASAP into a min. of 1 gal pots.
You can use some B1 for transplanting, helps prevent shock and stimulates root growth.

Also do a GOOGLE on leaching / flushing potted plants. This is very important for small container grows...

Sorry to come down on you so hard, just trying to help a friend...:peace:

It's all good sub. I was probably going to flush them if the problem keeps up. I actually just read subcool's sticky about starting in 1 gallon pots. That was after i potted them in their containers now. But I'll transplant for sure. so you think the BB is burning them.
btw.. the bubblelicious are tied down a bit in case you were wondering why they look tipped

Isn't Big Bloom for the flowering stage of life???
Molasses? Is for flowing too I believe???
I personally would not use raw sugar, why attract ants?
Just watch your girls, they will let you know what they need...
I feed my veg plants once twice max with grow food.
Half way into veg. and the day I start 12 X 12.
After that I switch over to flowering foods, at this point I may get aggresive...
I will ad some Pro-Silicate to my food, there is one mineral that
is almost missing in artificial soil that's Silicon!
Plus there is a added benefit of using this product it's...???
It's a great PH up booster too. The food I use takes my
neutral RO water all the way down to 4.8 PH, way to damn low.
Only takes very little pro-silicate to raise it back up...
It also ads more potash too...
Be skeptical of everything you read, including me...:eyesmoke:

big bloom is organic and wont hurt if your using less than half strenth with the ffof nutes which are organic also but anyway i got 2 bubbleicious goin right now today is end of 6 weeks flowering and man there doing great definitely not auto dont think nirvana worked out all the problems they have with their autos (short rider GOOGLE IT!)

I've always used full strength in watering from seedling to harvest as conditioner i guess. It has a low NPK rating .01-.3-.7. it also has good stuff in there like worm castings, guano, kelp and micros. I've never had any problems at all.
I've also used molasses throughout the entire grow at 1 tblspn per gal. not that i'm reading too much into it but studies have shown that it improves microbial activity in the soil, and has great micros as well. I haven't had a problem so far with that either.
One thing i have done different is ... started using Plant Success mycorhizae which has an npk rating that combined with the OF this early in the grow may have been too hot.

Well i took your advice on the one and transplanted it into the Roots Organic 10X10 inch one gallon pots the other i left alone to see how it progresses over the night and either leach it or transplant.
One thing i will not deny. The extra mycorhizae made the roots fucking MASSIVE. The hydro guy sold me on it and it was a great buy at 5 bucks for about 10-20 apps

i'll also look into the silicon for flowering. I need a little boost of K or something in flowering. I lose alot of green in flower and i don't go hard on any bloom foods at all. I actually use more veg food in bloom than i do bloom sometimes. in any event i lose green quick and did a little reading on K problems in flower. The silicon sounds like something i may want to add if it suits me.
