Default Pure Power Plant Perpetual Ebb and Flow
Greeting.

I figured it was time to start my own grow journal if I am going to stick around.

What I am up to...

Pure Power Plant from Nirvana
Perpetual grow.
5' x 5' myar coated room
600 watt HPS
Air cooled hood - 6" inline fan
Ebb and Flow 3' x 3' tray.
General Hydroponics 3 part Floral
Majical
R.O. Water
72 - 80 degrees
49 - 51% R.H.

Mothers are under 4 - 4' FL tubes in a homemade Ebb and Flow.

RootTech Cloning gel.

It looks like I will pull some every 2 weeks or so depending on how full I get the tray and have to wait for room for the next couple of plants.

I am still fighting algea and the damn gnats that come with it, but I am up to the fight.

Tomarrow I am going to pick up either Hygrozyme or SM-90 and add that to help combat the proble.

35% Hydrogen Peroxide has helped, but the problem may be to far along. I am going to do everything I can to not have to abort the room. I have it up and starting to cycle now.

I am still trying to nail down the best method ot grow this strain in the setup I have. Weither small single buds are the way to go or if 2 colas, 4 colas, or if sea of green plants are the way to go.

Below are some pictures of the setup and of the second little girl to come out.
I hope I can encourage someone to do much better then me and I also hope that someone stopping by can add to my little bit of knowledge.

Hope a few of you guys stick around and watch this soar or sink.

Default Hygrozyme
Well, I picked up a bottle of Hygrozyme today. If it does half of what it should it will be well worth the $40.00.

Here is the game plan.

I am running a strong dose of H2O2 tonite to try and kill of some of the algea and root crap.

Tomarow I will pull a couple of plants that are at 9 1/2 weeks. All cloudy very little amber. And start tohose drying.

Clean up the tray and res. Run Hydrozyme @ 8ml per gallon with phed ro water for 2 hours straight.

Drain that, and refill with the Hydrozyme and RO water again. Run that for the next day of normal cycle.

Drain that and refill with the Hydrozyme/water, but this time add my nutes back to the mix.

I will keep changing out the mix for 5 days as suggested by some of the users on here.

If all goes well, I plan on running it at 8 ml/gallon from here on out.

Well, Hygrozyme is in and so far so good. I am going to run just water and that @ 8ml/gallon for 24 hours then add nutes again.

Here are some pics of what I have pulled so far.

These are at right around 9 1/2 weeks.

The middle on weights around 100 g's dripping wet, and the far right around 52 grams wet. The far left I never weighted so I did not do it this time. I wanna see the perfentage loss do to drying.

The last picture is of the room as it stands today.

Well, over 24 hours the Hygrozyme raised the ph by 0.8. I can live with controlling that. I decided to repalce with a fresh mix and run one more day of just the Hygrozme and R.O. water.

Tuesday I will go back to nutes while still running this. I plan on just keeping a close eye on the water quality and see if I can get away with running it almost 1 week after changing it the first two days. The water was just a little cloudy, 1 more day should tell me if the water is gonna get real bad or not. I can tell you that the water and area smell fresh and clean right now and all is looking good.

Well,

Day number three has passed, and I added back half strength nutes to the res. and adjusted the ph. The Hygrozyme seemed to try and drive the ph up 0.8 to 1.0 every 24 hours. It must be it breaking down the old roots and what not. I just put some into a jar last night, to start curing and some will go in tonigte. It smells so fruity right now. Very unexpected.

Default Little testy test
Well, I just got done sampling some of the 9 1/2 week PPP. And all I can say is nice. So, much better then Bag Seed that looked so nice and impressed my friends. Nice fruity taste, and 2 tokes in, nice feeling. I wish I had let them go another 1 or 2 weeks, but for being almost 100% cloudy trichromes... I like.

Below is a picture of the 2 I pulled at 9 1/2 weeks. Interesting fact. Almost 100g's/57g's wet, 37g's and 27g's into the curing jar. The scale I used sucks, the next time I will use a better one, and I want to start and graph them out and come up with a % of water loss as a base point for starting the cure. I measured them each day, but with the crappy hanging scale I used the data is amusing, but not valuable.

Thank god for spell check, as that test is relly kicking me in the ass.

Default 3rd Generation Momma
I figured I would include a snap shot of my 3rd generation clone mother. I am actually going to up 4 clones off of her now. She is a good cloner, and have only lost 1 out47 uts. And she was my first. I lost my cloning cherry to PPP and she was kind to me.

I hate to lose her as I love her fruity taste. I am going to add a bag seed Snow White cross to the room and see what happens. I still want to find a nice quick crop. The strain "The Wreck" looks nice and can be pulled from clone at 40 - 50 days according to the breeder, HHF.

Well, the fight goes on. Hygrozyme has helped with the smell of the nutes, and the plants are not looking any worest for wear. I still have to finish off my gnat problem, but one more trip to the shop should do that.

Here are a few pictures of the room today.
