The really retarded one without any leaves is finally starting to show some. It might just make it. I'm gonna let the other retarded one go, the bagseed one. It's crazy how fast they grow in hydro, why didn't I do this years ago?

That one on the last set of the pics...if you look in the middle you see the one without any fan leaves. Just those seedling leaves. It has a root base but no fan leaves whatsoever. I never seen one do this. Does anyone know if this stands a chance or what's the deal with it?

Lookin' good man. Your plants look a lot healthier than mine for some reason. Yours are a light pine green where mine are pretty damn dark now. We'll see how it goes.

Good luck man, and I'm curious to keep watching your grow along side mine for a Hydro vs. Soil grow off, haha.

Only using 1/2 strength grow big 3-2-6 and the big bloom. It has bat guano and earthworm castings in it .5-.5-.5 I think. Lots of bubbles, we'll c what happens.

Sitting here just makes me want to put that other bubbler together. I got a brand new air pump the other day. It's pretty nice, also bought some air stones...the really long jewels. I have about 20 more seeds of some of my buddies strain, half tempted to start them. It's killing me not running my hps lamp. I figure about another 3 weeks and I can start using it again.

All four lights are hooked up now and I increased the nutrient solution to 3/4 strength about 2 days ago. I need to get a good combo ppm/ph meter. That doing that shit eyeballing it is for the birds. I'm looking to spend no more than a $100 bucks on it.

Nice. If those are 16 days old, that's really sick! Mine is 21 days today and about 3/4 that size. :(

SmokerE takes the lead...for now haha. Props dude.

I did make a couple of changes. When I put in that new air pump it pushes out the air so fast that the bubbles were reaching the leaves. That's why "i believe" that there is some spotting on the lower leaves. I ammended this by filling the net pots to the top with hydroton. Hopefully no more overspray.

Bought some new stuff today. Got me an inline squirrel cage fan rated at 80 cfms. Bought me a charcoal can filter rated at 90 cfms. Also got me some of that fine reflective mylar. I have a new 4 foot or so by 7 foot or so space I will be working in for flowering. I figure I should be replacing the air within the room every minute or so. This is good right?

Hell yeah. That fan will be more than enough. As long as all the air should be replaced every five minutes or so. Your doing 5x that ;) Even better.

Good luck with flowering dude. May your buds be fat and sticky!! HEHEHE

I'll look forward to seeing them bloom!

Appreciate it...was pretty nervous doing a full hydro setup with seeds that were very hard/sketchy to come by. All is well so far. I have some litter buckets to make individual DWC's with. They are the large litter buckets. I was figuring on doing 6 of them since they fit perfectly in my space. My only concern is a 400 watt hps, is it going to be enough?

400W HPS will just about do for 6 plants. Can you use some of those CFL you got as supplemental lighting too?? This would really help.

That's exactly what I did with my 6 plants. A 400W HPS and 2 x 125W Envirolites (big CFLS's) which I could hang closer to the plants that were further away from the HPS. Worked good for me. But to be honest, for my next grow I will use the same lighting, but only plan on flowering 4 plants. This will work better for my space and I will get excellent light to ALL plants, all of the time. So instead of doing SOG or similar, I will be trying to maximise on buds for each individual plant. Might even do a bit of training as well.
