Here's a photo, tank on pen is the new mix, photo when full, gave it to the wife last night and she lowered the level.
Next to right, which is a darker cololr is a tank that had been filled with a winterized naphtha extraction, and thinned with everclear, never worked well but worked it down to goo on the wicks and bottom and it wouldn't fire. I filled with the peg mix and let it set for a couple of hrs then hit it and it works again, far right cigg juice.

If your wick starts to clog just add a little warm pg and let it sit for a bit + shake. I think the pg vapes at a little faster rate than the pg so i've had to add more a couple times but it starts working again in a few min np.

The pg does vape at a slightly lower temp than hash oil. So it will want to evap first. This would not be a problem if the pg and oil would stay in solution together. But as it sits idol the pg will rise to the top leading to thinner (oil wise) hits when you start.

I would highly recommend to all to stop using the pg and get some peg, you need to use much less (stronger vapes) and it stays in solution (no maintenance).

PEG is what the O-Pen and other MMJ cartridge manufactures use. They just cut their CO2 extracted oil more than it needs to be.

Happy Vapes to all

Lol. Me too. I'm loving this pg though. If the peg is even better.then I'll be even more pleased. I just started playing with flavors. Oh boyyyyyyy. This is so exciting :)

Just made some VG
I used a crockpot with some water and a mason jar.
I let it sit for 5 hours on low. I am letting it cool now.
I have vaped for almost 3 years now. This is a first for MJ in the e-cig
My original reason for coming back to MJ was my wife's migraines but you know I could not resist having a taste to right?
I am new to the forum but I am looking forward to learning more.

I am tempted to try this, and was wondering, I found a company that sells marijuana flavoured e juice (with all the standard options), and they have a 100% PG option. If I used some of this e juice rather than pure PG to make THC E juice, would I retain the marijuana flavour from the e juice or would it be lost in the cook and possibly induce other problems?

Also is it better to use bho or iso?

Thanks

I am not sure what concentrate you are using but I don't have any problem with my PG USP separating from my concentrate. I warm the concentrate slightly and gently mix in the PG USP. I have a 30mL bottle of a mixture that has sat for a couple months now and there has been no separation.

I must say, I have had it separate only when it was not warmed before mixing. It has to be warmed and mixed in a small cup or pan.

I just use a metal measuring cup, put some concentrate into it, place the cup on a coffee cup warmer. Once the concentrate begins to "melt" I then add the PG USP and gently stir. After mixing I quickly remove the cup from the heat.

Here is the 30mL bottle of my pre mixed e-cannabis oil.

SVD with i30 9-1-13 158.jpg

I prefer to use variable voltage batteries and the clearomizers to be rebuildable with dual heating elements. Like the iClear16 and iClear30.

For a pen vapaorizer I like the eGo C Twist 650 mAh VV. For an advanced portable vaporizer I like the innokin SVD (pictured above). The metal tip on the iClear30 prevents the sweet flavor so you really cannot taste the sweet of the PG USP, all I taste is ganga! :weed:

I am not sure about PeG, I thought I read somewhere it is used in laxatives. PG USP works perfect for me, I certainly found what I was looking for to make vaping oil an awesome experience.

got the peg today and added a little to the 1/2 tank I already had. It vapes much better. just like regular ejuice. I'll make another batch with just peg and oil later.

A little update on my vape quest. When making the 1st batch with peg, the winterized oil I started with must have had some alcohol still in it, and everything mixed real easy. The new batch I made last week, I started with very stiff winterized oil. I had a very hard time getting the rock of oil to melt down into half the amount of peg, I warmed the oil but didn't exceed 105. What temp do you all heat to when mixing?

After several hrs, I started adding drops of everclear, I added about 8 drops per gm of oil, and the rock finally broke down and blended with the peg.

Here's the back of an O Pen cartridge packing, check out the ingredients

its fully liquid so probably @ 130-140 only for a few seconds tho. as soon as i can swirl it @ I drop in the pg. I have been using a higher pg to oil ratio tho. the peg seems to mix and vape better but i havn't tried a straight peg oil batch yet.

I would guess mine gets to 120°-ish. The sample wax in with the green samples you recently got, mixes well.

I personally dont care for the sickeningly sweet flavor of the additive in those prefilled cartridges, rem pen was worse than open vape. Better off dabbing good wax with a straw off your car cigarette lighter. Get a wax pen. Follow these rules: You get what you pay for. Dedicated beats multi purpose.

I'd have to agree with you that the flavor of the pre-packaged units is less than desirable. That's why I'm trying to use the least amout of peg as possible, which helps the flavor a bunch. I do have a couple wax/oil vaper units. The one I like the best is the Seego V-hit type B I do like smoking the straight wax much better but it is nice to walk out of the house with a full tank that will last for several days.
