making thc juice for e cig

yeah, being able to vape at work, in a bar, and other public places is definitely nice. my ecig oil has almost no flavor or smell, so my bong is deff better for home. imo the only reason for an oil pen is stealth. For that purpose, the purpose built vaporizer pens suck, since when you use them it is very obvious to anyone around you. otoh, ecigs with peg/pg and oil look and smell pretty much exactly like a regular ecig.

I think my favorite e-cannabis oil mix so far is RSO and QWISO hash evenly mixed with about 30% PG USP.

i performed two very identical tests..

i did one test with lower grade oil, og
and one with higher grade. animal cookies

PG vs. PEG og

the og doesnt have the greatest taste alone as the oil itself..

mixed very easy with the PG, and also vaped with a semi fruity flavor. good
PEG mixed almost as easy, but did not have the tastiest vape, more like its actual oil taste came straight through.., no fruity taste..

mixed pg with animal cookies, the vape was semi fruity along with the actual great oil taste. cloudssss of smoke
mixed peg with animal cookies.. this one rocks! no fruity taste, but get the animal terps coming straight through.. delicious, vape clouds dont seem as big, but the hit feels less harsh, and tastses REAL.

my conclusion after these testes.. the PG is a better choice for a not so tasty oil(or special tasty blends), while the PEG is the better choice for a dank oil..
i did find the PEG blends to be less harsh on the burn as well..

either way. both are the best i have ever used in an e cig. if only one is available, id more than happily settle with one or the other..

qwizo, you need to get yourself on one of these. iso mixes reallyyy easy, you can even leave a little iso in it, hell, it helps..

this things take smoking to a new level..

it aintt tooo bad., ive roughly dropped a few hundred on this site(hoosiere cig, cheapp, fast shipping), but ive been through manyyyyy batteries, tanks, charges etc. destroyed most of it trying to figure it out.. but it been worth th R&D.

i bought probably every tank they sell. when you finally get a setup.. one of the most important parts to purchase are the tanks that hold the juice.. get a tank where you can see the level of liquid inside, get a tank with a nice fattt wick, or bottom wick.

other than that, explore have fun..

now,. the cool thing about these.. as long as you dont look like a suspicious pot head acting stupid puffing one of these. ( just hold it together in public) you wont even phase people!

andd, its basically like taking a dab in public, so you can start coughing if you go to far..

i at first felt very uneasy in public.. but the more i see people smoking e cigs, the more i just act like im doing the same! :]

when you start to feel scared, and worried, it shows, so ya.. play it cool, these are awesome..

i started growing just a little over a year ago, so my shit was just alllll kinds of mayhem.. the biggest things that hurt me were the summer heats, and changing my soil!!!!! a combo of those two nearly pushed me out of the game... seriously, vegging tiny dead plants for 4 months, and not flowering makes me go crazy..

i started growing to make hash..
once i got more involved with hash, it was hard to keep up with my ladies..
i got several cycles under my belt so far, been helping a good friend of mine grow, hes got a bigger light, bigger area, and all my strains. soooo.. its kind of nice having someone else grow the strains i want to make hash out of :]

gonna get a journal fired up soon enough again..

butttttttt. i think im back on the healthy track :]
hope to get things moving again by mid next month..

journals are nice, because they keep dates better than me :]

another update, been hearing about ppl using terps to dilute oil so i wanted to try that. I found some distilled lemon oil at a health food store and added a few drops before i added the peg. the oil seems to dissolve in the lemon oil np. I was too chicken to roll with that the first time so i added a little peg as well. adds a pretty nice lemon flavor and vapes really well. I'll definitely be looking in to some of the other essential oils. idk if I'm going to try using it straight or not, that's alot of flavor lol, i do like the idea of it tho.
anyone else mess around with any of those?

I have been following it with much enthusiasm.... keep up the good work! I'm weary of using peg400 as i do not know to much about it. I do having usp pg from the pharmacy though.... think this will mix ok with an everclear quick wash type oil?

maybe i can try alternate PG distributors... but i know the current one i have brings a bit of a harsher fruity taste to the vape.. compared to the PEG..

im still loving both. just noticing slight differences.. i got a super delicious PG blend with SFVOG, and some cinnamon flavor. BAM!

i smoked tobacco for a few years. stopped about a year ish ago.. my lungs have inhaled a lot of crap.. and i remember how they used to feel, and how i would have trouble breathing while using them heavy..

tests on myself prove that these things are actually making my body feel better.. when i dab, i tend to get carried away, take something i cant handle, cough a lung etc...

and well, those coughs cant be the best thing in the worldd. (not saying im gonna stop :] ) but thesee pens get me to my high, in a different fashion.. a nice clean fashion.. a handful of little hits feeels like a dabbbb... and just one little hit feels greatt, like a creeper dab, likee the high will come in just a few moments.

its hard to explain, but the highs come a bit different.. but they come really good too. is it just me??

the other night while making the different flavors, juices.. i tested a tonnnn of vape. by the end of the night, it felt like i was on one of my strongest edible highs ever..

i love not coughing up a lung, yet getting high. its just cleaner IMO

i started smoking roughly 6 years ago.

i smoked flowers for about 4 years. didnt get into concentrates till about 2 years ago. started off on tiny shitty pipes, bongs, etc.. then graduated to big nice glass. lungs could rip pretty heavy at one point :]

well, then oil came along, and i went right back to my small better pipes, and small bongs. never even needed a big apparatus to smoke out of, since i got into concentrates..

i tried to hold off as long as possible. but i soon got into all these different vaping toys. i used to have the eclipse vapor tool, i used to loveee that thing, shit works really well, just broke too many vials.. that was my best on the go vape. then i had a dab pen for a minute.. well. i went back to my eclipse because the dab pens sucked.. they would always leave my shit messy, and stinky, pain in the ass to re load as well. at least i could store everything away and not smell with the eclipse..

at home, i like to smoke, and i like to smoke good. so i got myself a rig and nail, with dome. my favorite way to really get high.. i really think the dome and nail is the way to go for best flavor and hit. (open nails are cool, and convenient, but also suck a lot of air) ..
another favorite pipe i have come to love is my health stone(im trying to get it reinforced).. a current flaw it has, is its glass, so it can break. for certain occasions, lets say a bbq, or drinks and dumb stuff, where you dot want a rig to be tipped, this thing works out fannnn tastical, and is quick, and easy. clean flame, and you get a good vape. really fun on the go. (no stealth though)

now. the latest and greatest hit to me has to be these e cig pens.. i have come to find myself hitting this more frequently at home than any of my actual rigs..
lately ive been making a juice out of any dank oils i make.. so i have the option of vaping any of the oils ive made, as well as any of the flavored blends though my e cig..
the excitement only grows. since there are tonsssssssssssssss of flavors to try out :] .. ... did i mention it can smell very lovely and discreet?

okay guys, i dont know if this question has been answered successfully but i am going to tell you right now that if you read this post you will finally be able to make thc e-cig juice for whatever you want that will work in any clearomizer or atomizer with good enough ohms. i dont know why i'm sharing this because i actually wanted to keep it for myself, but i figure theres enough people out there that are either being overcharged.

so i bought peg 400 liquid from http://mbferts.com/PEG-400-Food-Grade-Polyethylene-Glycol-400-Buy-E-Liquid-E-Cig-275.htm?productId=206 and it is wayy cheaper than anywhere else.

used pg, vg and peg 400 in every ratio imaginable and couldn't get a decent tasting one. plus it started irritating my throat.

then i found this http://www.liquidizer.com/purchase/ejmix.html and it has been made and mixed to absorb all waxes and oils.

this liquidizer product doesn't hurt my throat, smokes clean in all my atomizers and makes mixing a piece of cake. just so a double boil in a small shallow dish and add your concentrates, not bubble though cuz i feel like it will clog your atomizer or heating core.

also, 1.8ohms and lower is the best resistance for any atomizer/clearomizer or whatever tank you use. anything higher and the high just isn't that great. i would look into 5v+ batteries since they will probably delivery a better high.

i found the higher the heat, the better the high. despite never burning out any tanks with this mixture, i have a friend who takes monster hits and burns out every atomizer he uses with it so he doesn't use it anymore. i told him he needs to pause between hits because it's not a joint, it's a frickin e-cig. he don't wanna change so he said screw it, i'd rather smoke a real joint.

anyway, hopefully this ends this mystery to e-cig and thc juice.

take that o-pen. i tried contacting o-pen for their cartridges cuz they work the best for this type of liquid and they said "no, we don't do that, ever." here in the bay area they charge $40 for .25 grams of hash oil loaded into a cartridge. .25 grams....really??? i smoke .25 grams in 5 minutes. fricking robbery guys. yea, so check out liquidizer.com for the stuff. they got a good butane hash oil setup device too for those looking to make wax without exploding themselves.

man o man this is so awesome. i'm so glad this is helping others. so i'll try to answer all your questions as much as i can:

the only dispensaries that sell cartridges that i know of are greendoor in sf, and medithrive in sf. both charge $40 for .25 gram prefilled e liquid cartridge or $60 for .5 gram prefilled e-liquid cartridge. ridiculous.

the juice in the bottle from liquidizer looks like its about 6 oz of liquid in the bottle when i got it. unfortunately liquidizer doesn't post the weight or volume so hopefully that answers your question on that.

i tried 100% pure peg400 only at first without pg or vg and it was nasty. irritated my throat alot. you cannot do it without peg400, peg 400 is oil soluble and pg and vg are not. if pg and vg are oil soluble the percentage is only in trace amounts. i cannot see any other way to infuse any kind of wax or oil in without peg400. one time i tried double boiling isoprohyl in a vial and then added the wax to the isoprophyl, then once it melted and was liquidy enough i added that to a pg/vg mixture i made which produced shitty results. at the time i didn't have much good quality hash so maybe that was the reason? but i never tried it a second time. if that would work somehow then you could avoid using peg400, but honestly it just much easier with peg400. reason being is peg400 is non-polar just like thc is non-polar where as pg & vg are polar solutions.

the bottle contains pg & peg 400, 300 & 200. you can buy peg 300 & 200 from ebay and mix it yourself but i just dont want to go through the hassle. no vg in the bottle at all from what i can see. the liquid is runny and thin enough to not clog up any atomizers. the ratio i use is 1ml of liquid to 1 gram of hash oil. the bottle says otherwise but i think this is the best ratio i've tried (i tried many many different ones since purchase). i also think that the peg400, 300 & 200 is probably low percentage like 5% maybe because i barely tasted it at all. unlike when i bought the 100% pure peg400 and used only that in an atomizer which tasted, not horrible but not pleasant. now in this liquidizer bottle i only taste a trace amount of that which tells me there is significantly less of it, and probably more pg than anything else. i also recommend the bottom coil tanks or dual coil tanks with tiny short wick or no wicks at all for the best vapor clouds and quality, imo. i'm in the bay tho so if you are thinking of buying some pure peg400 i can definately sell you some of mine as i am never going to use it. the only use i get out of it is for cleaning my pax. the pax device has a narrow tube inside that gets clogged easily and i dont want to use alcohol or other harmful solvents. but since peg400 is oil soluble it dissolves any thc residue build up inside the tube of the pax.

Honestly, I know they must be selling some because of the monopolized strangle hold they have on this particular item. Also, alot of the parts and pieces come from colorado/LA i believe. However, despite this, the bay area dispensaries prey on the fact that it's one of the most expensive areas to live with higher costs of living to some extent. So knowing this they probably are trying to take the most from people money-wise especially for a specialty item like this. The bay area is known for capitalizing on things that don't offer alot of content but may be visually stunning or just popular. Anyway, that's my rant. Eventually it'll be just like colorado with $20 thc e-liquid in dropper bottle behind the counter and may offer various strains instead of just generic indica, sativa & hybrid. YEA, THEY THC E-LIQUID IN THE BAY AREA ONLY OFFERS 3 TYPES, NO SPECIFIC STRAINS. sad huh? cuz you figure this area would offer the most when it actually doesn't. still better than new jersey's 10% thc cap on all strains, but i think the bay area's come along way since then and should be out-performing alot of places but usually falls short. LA dispensaries from my experience were the best ones Ive ever been to offering REASONABLE pricing in most cases. If you have money to throw away, the bay area dispensaries are looking to take it, that's the bottom line.

Are you just heating your oil (bho?) and then adding the pg to it.... at a 1:1 g/ml ratio? How are you finding the blending as you continue to progress?

@Vaportech.... How come you couldn't achieve the same results with a 100% pg mix that Guzias did? I'm just curious as to why I might not be able to achieve it either!..... Seems like that mix you buy might be a great alternative..... I wish we could make one the same if not better, but for way less.


How are you all liking the tanks that you have? Iclear 16 and 30's? I saw a few Evod's..... how are those working with the oil blends? I'm curious as to how your setups are working out after some usage. I have a billetbox that I would love to try this in! It's a cartomizer tank that holds 6ml..... could be good for a few weeks!

I've tried evods (also rebuilt with 28 gauge), and a fatty rba also with 28g coil, and a cheap 510 cartomizer. all of them worked fine, obviously the fatty and the evod with the micro coil produce alot more vapor at 15watts than the other ones i have to vape @ 5-6 watts. all of them worked tho. the cartomizer one was pretty cool cause i can put it on the cig style battery for the extra sneaky thing.
