I have some of these seeds I will start after my sage n sour is finished. Just over 3 weeks into veg and she looking be autiful

So I would first like to explain the "hybrid" in Hempy. The concept of a hempy bucket is to have a well draining media mixed with a moisture retentive media, such as perlite/vermiculite. Organic fertilizer practices in hempy style grows have show exceptional results and boast massive growth. The 02 levels are high and media act to wick up H20 and thus reduces the needs for flushing and feedings, and preventing excessive salts from accumulating. In organic's, the soil must be feed and the use of fertilizer salts are not practiced. Instead the use of "compost teas" are employed and have a high favorability by growers to replenish and futher establish microflora populations in the media. These microbes are most likely to flourish in a highly oxygenated environment after they have been brewed n an AACT. Most growers will brew 7 days a week just to keep up with watering demands. The comcept of my Hempy Hybrid is to employ a 3" layer of hydroton on the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket. Within this layer, there are 2 large barrel air stones. These will be powered by a 20L/min dual diaphragm pump. Lots of air for a hempy, mabey overkill but that's the point. Lots of air, and this air is going to naturally want to go somewhere, not having a way out, it will rise up thru the soiless substrate. There is a drain hole/w shut-off valve at the bottom and this will be opened and dumped periodically, but the leachate from the soil with nutrients and microbes that runs out the bottom after a watering, this liquid can and will be oxygenated. Basically like a compost tea that never runs out of food or air, meanwhile the roots will be growing in this super oxygenated hydroton bed fill with compost tea that's actively brewing. Now call me crazy but I honestly think I have found a way(hypothetically) to get that explosive growth and increased yield when using a "true hempy", while retaining that foundation in "true organic". Not I just want to be clear that the soil line will never be submerged with the water/tea line. They will separated by 2" of hydroton. This should prove to be very interesting. I have thought very long and hard on this concept and I think it truly will work.

The seedling is 11 days old and currently in a 3gallon fabric Root Pot. The root pot is an air pruning pot and creates a very fibrous sponge like root zone. The seedling is in my own mix, but is an "uncooked" milder formulation to the supersoil. So right now all I feed it is compost tea with calcium/magnesium added. The pot is dry in about 3days. At some point in the mid-late veg, im going to transplant into a 7gallon fabric Root Pot. Its 12"w x 14h------the same as a 5gallon bucket. The plant now being in the new 7gallon will have spread out and fill it. However that's when she will go into the "Hempy Hybrid". Fabric sitting ontop of the Hydroton, this will act like passive hydroponic (self watering) or capillary matting. I can choose to "top-water" (this is where the tea would come from) or "bottom-water" (this will act as a flush or simply a fail safe water supply). In all my experience with the root pots, when the Tap and other roots get to the bottom they can grow thru the fabric if the pot sits in a saucer. But whatever is exposed to air and light will prune. So by putting this 7 gallon pot directly inside the bucket you encourage the roots now to go where they choose. And it's for sure going to be where the moist humid air is at......the bottom.

The plant will be subject to a multitude of pruning and training techniques, as well as providing clone stock. The Acorn (snowbud) is said to be a very good candidate for scrog and takes toping and fimming well. And is also said to be a heavy producer and boasts the trait of "Baby Arm" sized colas, that are dripping with copious amounts of resin. ---lol we will see about these "baby arms." However what the mother shows me in stress resisitance, vigor, and phenotype, will ultimately decide what I can do with the clones. Im hoping to main-line the clones in a SOG.

Well I wanted to point out a few flaws I have found in the hempy bucket. First is the air distribution in the bottom of the bucket. It's un even and the resolution is to use soaker hose and create a solid curtain of bubbles and even non the less.
The second flaw is the double transplant. What I mean is that the roots will grow thru the fabric pot and get pruned. But there is still more roots in the fabric and the only way to remove the rootball is to tear and break the roots when removing it. So I think the fabric 3 gallon is gonna go on top of supersoil in the 5 gallon bucket and fill the sides and top with SS.
Mabey I will put fabric between the hydroton and soil for a wick/screen.

The Hempy Bucket is finished and in use! Soil moisture will be maintained and monitored with a digital meter and tank sprayer. Bottom of the fabric pot was removed and pot was buried 1/2 into soil. Overflow-auto drain w/ shut-off installed as well as a DTW line w/ shut-off. 20L/min- 02.
