So heres some pics of the mothers used for some crosses. None of these were grown to full potential because of the mites thats was my reasoning for making some crosses and starting from scratch. But at least it will give you an idea

Well, after getting home from the BBQ (just in time for lights on I might add)... I get to looking in my little grow space, seeing 5 girls and knowing I am allowed 6 mature plants  I started thinking to myself "I can make some room"... soon after I started germing 1 Flo Scout Cookies just to see what I got myself into for next round as a 'tester' . We will see if they make my weekly pic update on Thursday, probably next weeks tho  . sause my friend, you are in a class of your own; thanks everything :eyesmoke:
Thanks Azhden i appreciate the kind words. If you think im great wait till you meet hb that man has some crosses beyond anything i could put together.
And J that cut i received from a friend its the same one thats been going around riu and the co circuit i believe some close friends still hold it.

m1d how's the flav so far we just bought a 5pk. Looks frosty man.
She's great so far. Didn't stretch much at all, started packing on frost early-on, and supposedly has an average flower time of 55 days. My guess is mine will go closer to 65 though. That Flav in the picture is a Treehouse clone @ 38 days.

Looks like some purple stems on that JTR, which some have posted indicates it might have a higher CBD content. I got a seed from local CO grower that might be related, it just went from seedling to veg and looks like a strong plant. Interested to see how yours turns out, we should compare growth with our different methods and it would be great to compare the finished products to see any difference in the flavor or effect. Might help answer questions about the different styles of growing.:peace:

Sounds good to me, brother.

Although, with you being a higher wattage grower as well as a hydro grower, I am not likely to get anywhere near your yield #'s.
Dude, when I saw that BlueBerry plant you posted a few weeks back I almost fell out of my computer chair! That thing was seriously a monster.

It's nice that this is my third time growing this exact cut though, because I really have a feel for how she likes to be trained and fed. This third run feels like a winner.
She is under a 400w vert, hopefully sometime this fall I can invest in a 600w for the winter months.

We will have to meet up and match a few bowls to get the taste-test portion figured out though. ;)

Thanks Mid, the BB did come out nice, was a DWC experiment and got rave reviews from some friends who liked it for managing pain, but 1 person mentioned increased anxiety, which went away when the White Widow came out.:mrgreen:7-16-2013 BB in DWC 9 weeks1.jpg7-22-2013 WW 10 weeks1.jpg
As far as JTR, I just popped 1 seed and plan to put under the 600 watt HPS in about 2 weeks, so don't know gender yet. I see you are doing soil, I'll use hydro and thought we should compare notes after harvest, especially with a smoke test, just to find out how the end results compare. I have heard that soil grown tastes better, so having the same plants grown in the different styles will help to figure that out. After cutting I try to trim right away, dry for about 3-4 days and then start a few weeks of jar cure, leaving them open most of the time in the dark drying cabinet. Can you set aside a small amount to swap? If there is another bbq or gathering of local growers it would be cool to pass around both, and get a consensus.:peace:

That sounds awesome man! Good call on the hydro vs. soil thing. I have smoked hydro, and I have smoked organic, but never the same strain right next to each-other. Should be fun and interesting.

We pretty much rock the same dry/cure procedure too: I dry em for 3-4, when they are crispy but not brittle I jar them up. For the first few days - I open the jars for fifteen-thirty minute increments, or if it is too moist, lay them out for a bit, then jar them up again. The next few weeks I burp once, maybe twice a day for a few minutes. I try to cure for 2 months if I can, but that never ends up happening. It usually ends up being like 2-4 weeks of cure. (LOL, I need to catch up.)

But yeah man, I will certainly throw some to the side so that we can compare our homegrown hydro vs. soil. Can't wait man, should be fun and informative.

P.S. How long do you flush your hydro plants for before harvest? Just bein' curious, (because I know everyone is different)

I have smoked GSC about 2-3 times. Its not a very memoriable smoke UNLESS its done right I tried it from a few dispensaries and didn't like it then I tried a friends and loved it. Its a good high and memorable flavor but again only if grown correctly
