Haven't seen a thread about this, but it looks that the doj and Eric holder have told the state of.Florida not to return Zimmerman's gun even after being cleared of all charges last week..
It seems that they're going to try and pursue him with a civil rights case now, and have put a hold on all of the evidence in his recent court case, otherwise, Zimmerman was told he would be getting his gun back by the end of the.month..
When asked if Zimmerman should be allowed his gun back for.protection against recent death threats, a spokesperson for the white house stated that they're not aware of any death threats against zimmerman, and even if they had been, it's the state of.Florida's job to protect it's citizens and not the white houses..

Yeah, i don't see the civil case going anywhere for two reasons..
1) they'd have to prove Zimmerman followed and shot him strictly over his race. Despite what Al sharpton tells me, I don't really believe this to be true ..
2) being a gated community, it can be argued that this didn't happen on public roads, therefore his civil rights weren't affected

It is crappy what the DOJ is doing in this case as the physical handgun would have no bearing on a civil rights case. A piece of metal cannot be inherently *racist*.

But honestly, if you look at this through the prism of the court system and justice it looks insane. If you look at this through the prism of race, appeasement and politics it makes sense for them to appear to be doing everything possible to lynch Zimmerman regardless of jury outcome. The black community wants vengeance, not justice.

Take Martins parents for instance. First they simply wanted him arrested. Then they wanted a fair trial and stated it was not about race. When the trial didnt go their way it suddenly became unfair and was now about race.

Mob justice is not justice it is vengeance. And Reverend Sharpton is at the bow of the USS Vengeance like that stupid Rose chick on the Titanic as it sails towards the reality iceberg that the case absolutely has no chance to ever make it as a civil rights issue.
