Because of the Nazi party adopting the symbol prior to the outbreak of events in WW2,it is viewed with alot of stigmata, that is acutaly completely adversed to its intended meaning of peace and hope.It was around many years before the Nazis.

What about Christopher Columbus? Him and his people came to this country raping and pillaging the Native Americans and the USA gives him a friggen holiday.
I'm just saying, these things happen. They're all terrible events, but because of them everything is here how it is today. None is 'worse' than the other in my opinion, any torture to another human (and animals) is disgusting. This isn't a competition.

It's not a symbol created by the Nazi's. It was borrowed by them. It doesn't change the original meaning it held. It's an old hindu symbol and probably goes back farther than that. Symbols are what you make of them.... It's just colors arranged in a particular order; nothing more.
