SMELL

Dominant smell of bud : Very (almost like fresh roses) floral smelling plant in flower and carries over to final dry cured bud.


TASTE

Dominant flavor : Earthy kush
Associated flavors : Roses, potpourri, incense, very faint berry-ish taste, earthy, kush

Harsh/smoothness : 7 (1-10, 1 being extremely harsh and 10 being extremely smooth)

Over all a decent strain which was grown in a green house last summer from a single feminized seed.
No stretch really at all with this plant and its a real joy to grow, not finicky, stays green through harvest, very problem free, i back these seeds.
Some of my buds turned purple but i dont have any of those left, in fact those two buds in that picture are my last two all together.
I was going to do a smoke report sooner but have been real busy, got down to the last nugs in the jar and thought "Oh shit! better do a report!".

Sounds good. I did Lost Coast OG from them and was happy with their product. Hear their grapefruit krush is freakin killer.

What pheno is this? I have 2 bubba and 1 black affie pheno... black affie pheno being my favorite, coffee/earthy smell with a hint of fruit.

Nice report, royal purple kush has been on my wishlist for a while now, think i'l have to purchase some very soon after reading this.

they had to change the name of Royal Purple Kush as it was already in use so they changed it....I think to maybe Black Afghan as I saw said in this thread.....not sure but sure they had to change the name....

Here is my Royal Purple Kush at 7 weeks a little nitrogen deficient and over watered after a recent flush. Vegged a month from seed, it was very easy to grow and smells exactly like a Purple Kush should which makes me happy but not much color yet could be due to the deficiencies or maybe this pheno doesn't have much color either way it looks and smells great!IMG_1296.JPGIMG_1293.JPGIMG_1301.JPGIMG_1294.JPGI am running the Regulars not Fems

Very nice there Friend. I do not like FEMS either. I am only running them as they were sent to me in error which they would not correct.
Check my sig for my thread and plase post some pics in there about the RPK......ET has some good gear.....they used mostly Zoo's gear and F2 them and released them......so they are good.
Thanks for posting up the pics bro and stating the were REGS not FEMS......man I am telling you there will be a war and it will the FEMS vs the REGS.......LOL......

Nice plants. I think RPK will be the next ET strain I try. So far I've done Lost Coast OG, Grapefruit Krush, and Mastadon Kush and was impressed with all 3. Still have a Trinity Kush and Emerald Jack freebie I want to try one of these days.

I got two mastodon kush's in the 3rd week of flower right now. One is pre 98 bubba dom the other i believe is the desired actual mastodon - 50% master kush 50% pre 98 bubba.

I love ET!Emerald jack is great, uplifting... Almost racy go bud. Big dense amazing bag appeal!


Mastodon kush is coming down in a few days... Prob the densest I've grown... Maybe competing with ak48 from nirvana in the density department...


I emailed them the other day and they say that their top 3 in their minds are the blueberry headband, bubba 76 and rpk (didn't say if order meant anything but that's how they were listed)


I'm gonna pop the bb headband tomorrow

Just wanted to update, I smoked my RPK and the potency was incredibly low out of the two females I got. Unfortunate cause I was really liking this strain, solid buds, easy to grow, good looks and smell and smooth but 3/10 potency. I tossed them I will not be running this strain again.

You take it down premature?
Was it indoor or outdoor and if indoor what kind of light/nutes and veg time?

I've got Royal Purple Kush in my sights for my second grow. How much should I lower the temperature and when in order to bring out the Purple?
