something creepy about carnivorous plants, although I admit its a deserved fate for those blasted spider mites should they ever go near your plants. cool hippy organic solution to pest control mate.

* This is totally just my opinion. "Curing" might mean to some only that time when
the buds are in their container and are breaking down *without* fresh air exchanges.

But we are talking about getting buds from green to smokeable.....i.e. it is just these
fresh air exchanges that we are focusing on.

All this time I had no idea what these Boveda packs were that you were talking about. That's genus..
So would you even need to worry about burping the jars or anything when using those?

I like the idea of controlling the speed with which the buds lose
their moisture....this is the heart of curing.

I am not at all certain how fast one of these packs will dry bud out.

I supposed that an experiment is in order. :0)

Looks awesome as always CP, although you`re sure you have more than 14 days left ... ? I`d get an eye on those trichs, looks to me like you`re approaching flush time and darkness. Could be the pictures though, you`re shooting for 30% cloudy, 50% amber and 20% still clearish IMO for those babes. Again, proper job mate, going to continue enjoying this to the end :)

My camera died before I even got started, but was able to snap a few quick pics. Damn camera battery isn't holding a charge anymore.. Piece of shit foreign batteries.
Looks mostly cloudy, and clear. Not much in the way of amber yet IMO.

Damn it helps to have those nice pictures to help CP, beauties man. Anyways, you`re looking like a 50/50 for clear, cloudy, so you probably do have about 14 days left, haha. You`re on your game bro, must`ve been really stoned yesterday to even considering second-guessing that, haha. Gonna be a sticky few week for ya ;)

Only a couple things to report on today.
Had a late freeze last night, temps hit 28*F.. so I had to cover and protect the 5 plants that were in the ground outside. The remaining 6 plants that were outside in pots, came indoors for the night. 3 went back outside this morning when the temps crept back into the 50*s.
I said "fuck it" with the remaining 3 plants and stuck them under the HPS with the scrog. Decided these 3 will be my " in-between'ers". They aren't vegged to full size, so the harvest in 8 weeks from these kids will be small. Just a mini harvest (in-between the scrog harvest and Ace of Spades harvest) to make some money on.

The "in-between'ers"



Next on the report list is the scrog nugs. Many are becoming so top heavy that the stalks are failing to support them, and falling over. Harvest can't get here soon enough!

Slight change of plans.. Noticed my larger Ace of Spades was ready for it's individual scrog upgrade. So had to make room for that under the HPS.
The 2 largest Blue Cheese clones were moved back into the veg chamber until after the large scrog gets harvested. Once that's done, I'll have plenty of room under the HPS for those two plants.
Had to go mad scientist to make things fit, but I made it happen.

Looking nice CP, sorry to hear you got that shit weather as well, snowed at the farm this weekend for me after putting fruit trees in last weekend ... brutal. Got to loving your heavy nugs though, always a good sign to see that ;) and loving your little perpetual you have going mate, steppin`it up a notch eh? Nice brother, keep it up,

Always admired those neat little frames you built for your Scrogs CP, can you buy those poles and angle/corner parts easily ? much neater and practical than most you see.

I actually went back to the first photo after I posted the change of plans. Decided that if the Ace of Spades is going to be my new line, I'd better do it right. So back into the veg chamber they went. All 3 of those little Blue Cheese clones are back under the HPS. I decided it'd be best to just veg the AOS plants to a proper size, and start flowering the other clones now. If you're gonna do it, might as well do it right..

ya know, I really don't know buddy. The frame (bars) and joints were originally a $50 greenhouse that went to shit after the first year of use. I've since been using it for plant racks, scrog tables, and replacement parts for my other greenhouse. So even though it was originally a crap GH, it's definitely getting put to use.
Oh, and the individual scrog screens you see are the shelves from that same GH. Parts galore!

Ha ha ha! Now I recognize those materials.

In amateur mycology those "green tubed" numbers are something
every cultivator has (several of).

I have one collapsed....I will certainly consider this use.
