I haven't been in my garage in a week. If I would have shoveled better and made a few simple trenches I would be fine.
Winters are serious shit, the first one breaks you in pretty good. My problem was my fault by not keeping up on my shoveling.
I will probably heat the garage for a day later next week and suck water up with wet vac. ? Not sure. lol.

Yikes that's pretty crazy man. Break out the pick axe. Maybe I can head to gogo for a Saturday night or Sunday morning trip if that's where your heading.
No, I'm thinking East Bass Lake in Gwinn.
I talked to the guy at the shop fixing my shit and we will probably head out your way maybe next weekend. I want to get a few trips in before the hog a thon.

Totally, the perch are deep now and a little harder to find, the walleye lodge stopped selling wigglers till it picks back up. Big pike and smaller walleye are keeping everyone busy though. Had one the other day that barely fit thru the hole and took all the line off the tip up.

Do you guys have to use block-heaters in your cars in the winter?

Shit, where I played junior hockey (BFE northern Canada) you didn't dream of owning a car without a block heater. They had electrical outlets in front of every parking spot EVERYWHERE. McDonalds, the movie theater, you name it. If you didn't plug your car in, and went and watched a 2 hour movie, your shit was not starting afterwards. Call the tow-truck. These Michigan winters are mild in comparison. I do not miss that shit. Great ice fishing up there though!

No block heaters up here. They are common in Minnesota I've been told. It usually doesn't stay in negative double digits very long.

Most people I know with diesels have there shit plugged in every night. But glad is right it usually doesn't stay that cold for to long. This winter was bad though I went through 2 brand new batteries in 3 mos time.
