Faulty ballast: 9 weeks in - I refuse to give up all my hardwork. I need to CFL FAST

I bought my Apollo Horticulture digital ballast in October and started my grow in November. Well today the ballast came on, running as usual - but the bulb refused to heat up past a faint glowing filament, occasionally flickering for a second then turning off. It does this every few minutes so I'm assuming the light is trying to turn on.

I hope the good people at Apollo honor the 3 year warranty card I received with my order. I will update you all as to how they handle the return.

My question is this: I have some CFL's and a CFL base plate. I just need to know what wiring I need to actually make this work. Also, I'm 4 weeks into flowering and my babies are looking good. If I theoretically get this up and running today (saturday) but they go without light for 12 hours, what will happen? Is my grow officially worthless? Please help.

I switched back to MH for the day. Lets see if the ballast will run throughout the day. Will the MH make my situation better or worse? Should I just let the plants languish in the dark? Will the MH confuse and stress the plants to death? Thanks for any help

Could be your bulb also. Take a look at it close and see if there are any flaws.
I just got 2 1000w replaced by Ipower because at socket it went black after 7months and had a melted hole were metal meets glass on bulb. Good luck.

You can flower just fine with MH. Buds will be a bit leavier and yield reduced, but buds will be sugary and tasty! Sacrificing quanity for quality.
