OH MY GOD. SME IS A SHE.

SisterMary I suppose wasn't good enough of a giveaway hahahaha

My chiller is lol'ing at the SS400W because it's like "CAN'T TOUCH THIS!"

Now my question is can I pull off 12" away with a light rail?

Hey Frank,

Not sure you need the light rail with just two plants in that tent!
And since they are so small they are bathed in light, moving it would not do too much at the moment.
Especially if you add the second light.

If the tent was full i would say it would be very beneficial.

Looking good so far mate!

Btw, my 1/10 hp chiller is more than enough for a single SS400W but I will need to upgrade it before I put the second one in (that was really shortsighted on my part).

I ordered a 1/3hp which will be overkill but I'd rather have overkill than underkill.

Yea what are your temps sitting at? I think that is my biggest concern with Solarstorms.. I've heard they are very quiet, which means your fans are either: high quality, running slower, or Im thinking both.. then you tack on the UVB bulbs the last 2 weeks... shwoo... Idk, may work in your favor with the CO2.

I am still considering the SS400w, but you, my fellow grower, will be a determining factor- A51 is happening. period.

But the SS400 has not left my mind as a killer Flowering Panel.

EDIT: ...And Frank is dead on with 18", he's pushing 1074 umoles- with 90* lens, any closer he may start to bleach..

SME said there was a theory being tested around that plants like higher temps under LED. She says some people have been having better yields with maintaining 85F temps under LED and CO2 during veg and week 1 of flower, then you push it all the way up to 90F during day light, and maintain a 15F differential at night (75F). She said the theory merited further testing, so since I have the equipment that allows me to exactly and precisely control temps like that, I decided to listen to her.

I'll probably listen to everything she tells me, too. You just know when you're in the presence of someone who knows what they're talking about.

I designed this grow to be stealth because I wasn't sure if I'd get my MMAR approval. In that regard, I have really achieved success.

The SS400W is so quiet it is IMPOSSIBLE to hear even when the tent is open because the water bubbling makes more sound than it does.

I applied the same principle for my cooling system... I went with a 6" can-fan max (speed adjustable) even though 4" would have sufficed so I could run it at setting 1. This way it's very quiet and efficient.

If you walk in the room and look for it you may hear the bubbles if you concentrate on the sound, otherwise even my computer makes more noise than the sounds coming out of the closet. Unless you open the doors you'd never guess there was an automated MJ garden in there! lol

Can I list it there and offer to ship it from where I live? I know it's gonna sound crazy but I never used craiglist before, it's not popular at all around here. There's an alternative site that does the same.

Yeah you can do that. You can list it in any city. I Prefer to deal locally when I use craigslist though.
