I got some chocolope a few times from dispensaries downstate. I have wanted this strain for a long time. I am not sure on the Bodhi drops. I kept up for a few months but that shit just got ridiculous. lmao. The strains of his that I wanted the most I have, that makes a difference too. I have 2 of the Goji OG that drakes is going to do runs of, then they will be tested.

I am thinking a few pick n mix Blue Cheese & Super Silver Cheese as well.
Both chocolate and cheese are 2 very relaxing, soothing, low-anxiety strains.
I believe cheese is Sativa dominant and I have heard from several PTSD patients that they love cheese and cheese hybrids.

I have a blue cheese not sure who's. All I know is the finished nugs had a "blue" syrupy smell. I like. Haven't flowered it myself yet.

I recall some time ago Big Buddha and DNA were working on a Cheese x Chocolope (D line) cross that had been nicknamed ChocoFondue :weed:

I harvested a choc kush, it was good. I prefer the reg better though, more soothing. Budah(ET clone home, not Big Buddha) has a new choc kush going, it hasn't been run yet. I'd love to run them both side by side.

Speaking of soothing, this crystal mountain is the beea knees. Reminds me of a strain called yumbolt I used to see every now and then

I am color blind and I often rely on scent whereas many would color. That said, it is my belief that the true "Skunk" that peaked in MJ breeding programs of the 80's seems gone forever. In recent decades I have only experienced this true skunk scent/pheromone; in early flower of great Cheese genetics and after a three month cure on California Orange Bud/CaliO.

IMO CaliO is the only true skunk strain cured you can find intact today. Furthermore, I do believe that CaliO has a great Michigan clone only history going back decades now and may actually be considered the home of this strain.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Mass Super Skunk is still around and being bred with, Bodhi has a roadkill skunk he's working with, and of course the chem family is really skunky too. I'm not sure how those compare to the original roadkill skunk, but I'm sure they're similar.

I have chem 4 going. Everyone that comes over asks how it smells so skunky outside. lmao. I cannot smell it.
I had the first solicitor at my door this week. Never met this guy before, after talking for a minute the guy at
my door was like, son of a bitch dude, what do you have going? I am a cardholder, and this place smells unbelievable.
It would be 21-22 years ago now I got a bag of skunk and after smoking a joint it literally felt like a skunk had sprayed
me in the mouth and throat!! I was so intense! Smelling a skunk has never bothered me after that.
I would by any true skunk strain for sure. I have tried a few.

I have a ChemDawg here going into my next flower. I have had cured meds from this cut and it did have a fruity flavor similar to a Cheese. Hindsight is always 20/20 ;) I will watch for her to skunk during flower.

Chemdawg shouldn't taste anything like Cheese, not even a little. Was it Greenhouse's Chemdog? Chem should be coat your mouth skunk funk.

When I was referring to the fruit of Cheese, I was speaking of the skunk range out there. You may recall the SK1 lemon pheno, sometimes called simply Lemon Skunk within crosses like GHS's Super Lemon Haze. I would call this, along with CaliO, the citrus range. That said, the original had an earthy literal skunk roadkill scent in flower and flavor in cure. Where can I find this phenotype within a known stable strain today?

I believe this is my ChemDawg cut:

I know you were referring to Cheese the strain. I've had cheese and I don't think Chemdawg and cheese are alike at all. Different strokes, smells and tastes are different. Fuck, my mom thinks all weed smells like lemon pepper.

And it doesn't help with these european seed breeders putting out strains named Chemdog, with no indications of what Chemdawg cut they used. They should know better than anyone that details like that are important and not having those details makes people skeptical about the authenticity.

DinaChem: Dinafem´s version of ChemDog

Dinafem´s version of ChemDog.ChemDog is a well-known strain, from the East to the West coast of North America.

Since it was created in 1991, ChemDog has stand out by itself among a large number of strains in the U.S. In fact, it is a top 10 best seller, year in and year out. The U.S. market is the most developed in the world. Since half of last century, the U.S. market has kept gathering and backcrossing seeds and strains from all over the world. In addition, for many years they have been creating cutting-edge genetics and ChemDog, the breeder, has stand out of the crowd for its work.

Dinafem and Chemdag have partnered to create high-quality seeds starting from the work ChemDog has done in the last 25 years. The objective of this alliance is to offer the closest genetics to the legendary original ChemDog. This new Dinafem seed is Dinachem. ChemDog´s genetics has been used to create many hybrids, such as: New York Diesel, Bubba Kush, OG Kush, Giesel, Headband, Super Dawg (Orange Diesel), Underdawg Diesel, Daywreck Diesel, and the most well-known, Sour Diesel, also known as East Coast Sour Diesel. ChemDog's reputation stems from a wide range of aromas and unique flavors, ranging from citrus smells to the reminiscent of hydrocarbons, petroleum or diesel. It provides a powerful exotic flavor, very intense and of great quality. The effect of this sativa-dominant hybrid is powerful, euphoric, creative, and generally very saliva.

All original Kush appeared in recent years, they share common features with the ChemDog. All have very intense flavor, with aromas of lemon and oil, and very medicinal effects. We can also say that they are very strong plants, and produce a little less than the great producers. Our work has focused on increasing Chemdog´s production and maintaining other features.

To create Dinachem, we have had the privilege of getting an original ChemDog mother from 1991, through the breeder who created, and a lot GuavaChem seeds which is a stabilized descendant of ChemDog. The original clone is 21 years old, and shows lack of vigor due to its age, this has complicated the development of our work, as it is a very delicate plant, but finally we made it.We provided the best care to achieve the best results.

We have crossed the original Chemdawg clone with GuavaChem seeds, leading us to DINACHEM, our new creation. A super plant with all the power and flavor of the original ChemDawg, reinforced with added vigor of GuavaChem.
