could you give me an example of that last part when blacks were racist to white people then cried racism as justification. I want to see what exactly happen when this went down.

Are you going to imply this doesn't happen? Or are you just asking for an example to be awkward?

Either way, my point is racism begets racism, to which more racism isn't the solution.

Nah, just telling you of my awesome experience. Iv seen YouTube videos of black people maintaining the reason they are racist is because of racism. I'm clearly not saying ALL black people are this way, I just enjoy irony and it was flush with it.

so you have seen youtube videos of blacks saying they racist because of the racism they feel place on them..so they give back what they feel they were given.

Another cheeky but incontrovertibly true response would be "people centuries dead".

I would like to float the idea that "xxxxx started it!!" is not a very adult reason, if you think about it ... while all the time I want to say nothing to inadvertently cheapen the problem. The problem is real, but imo the solution is forgiveness by increments ... and not the bitter hanging-on to memories of the plight of grandparents and earlier. The similitude to Gollum sitting in his cave and fondling "our precioussss" while it sups on his soul is a bit close to the bone here imo.

Let me ask you. I am a white male who, by dint of his parents' recent immigration, cannot have had a familial iron in this fire. What must I do in order to be granted full membership in a discussion about racial détente, in your estimation? cn

you can start by not taking it personal. If you are not racist or experience racism then this conversation may not be for you.

Isnt that basically what you just did in one of the above posts?
You said something like because of history and past you can see why black people do not like white people.
So because of past racism, it justifies present racism.. Either way I have three views on the subject.

1. Thank god you are in America, living in America as a free people now.
Beats the living hell out of whats going on in the mess of a continent Africa.
2. Racism will always exist in some ways. Thick skin goes a long way. Black comedians make white jokes in almost every act, if it is funny, I laugh as do most other white people. I dont know how to word it, but basically there is a pride that is missing that makes it OKAY. I will say, that is something that is caused by the way black people have been treated for generations. It has been ground out of them and passed on generation to generation and is slowly coming back. Until it does, racism will not be "defeated".
3. Every race, religion, creed, etc.etc. at some point has been conquered and enslaved by some other race,religion, nation, etc.
It was the way the world worked for 1000s of years. It just so happened that the most prominent, wide-spread, legal slavery was Africans. Slavery is still going on to this very day, funny you dont see African Americans taking up the cause to root it out.

maybe this guy....he wants 2 kill whitey but I'm not sure he feels the way he does b-cuz of racism he's dealt with.... It's a reaction to white violence. He's saying that whites just fuck w/ black people and kill black people - a reaction 2 criminal activity....it's not b-cuz whites are racist...it's b-cuz people in the KKK have killed his ancestors....
