Is an agromax 400w hps any different than any other brand 400w hps? I feel like it's just a brand name thing...
lol really? i think theres mad people on here that would dissagree with that i think eazy e will do nice with a 400.. SCROGDo more research.......there's a ton of difference i.e. lumen amount, light "color", price, magnetic vs. digital compatability, warranty, lumen reduction over time, resistance to bumbs and shocks, import vs. American made, etc. Also, expensive doesn't necessary mean better with bulbs.
400 watts suck........ They are barely enough to flower 1-2 plants tops. I own them and they are boxed up and put away. A total waste of money. But it all really depends on the grow room size. I imagine in a very small room they are perfect.

yes brand matter right now one nof the best hps out is the Digilux for digitals and i would get a hortilux for magnetics or a phillips.

all ive heard is rave results using digilux and the spectrum tests showed it was the reddest bulb available on the market.
