I hang out around my pool quite frequently...spent a great amount of time outdoors all my life..Spent a vacation in Rio de Janeiro (equator) went asleep on a beach called Arpoador.. slept for about a good 2 hours woke up and spent another 4-6 hours just playing in the sun. Hell I kinda spent the whole trip in the equator sun...guess what... no sunburned..don't hate..lol.... What now you going to tell me what it's like being brown skinned...awesome..lol NO ONE in my family has ever gotten sun-burned.

FYI Sunburns do not cause Melanoma, Black people get skin cancer all the time, and usually in the later hard to treat stages is when they find out. Know why? Because Some people think skin cancer is caused by sunburns and since darker black people don't get sunburns they think they can't get skin cancer, But skin cancer is caused by UV light, not sunburns.
FYI a total of 8 hours per year in the sun isn't very much, You aren't trying to stay as light skinned as possible now are you?
