Herming in Late Flower?

never seen a male flower and i think i have some on 3 or 4 tops on two plants. This pictures not so good but there are three little things coming out of the center of a few bud tops. All i know is this isn't part of a female flower but i don't see any sacs anywhere on the plant? Don't know if this is the sac or the male flower. Please help.

Being in late flower, what should i do? Can i clip these little things off or is that not something i should do? just finishing week 6 since i flipped and would hate to see any of my plants get pollinated.

Is there other plants in the room. If so then it would be wise to take that plant away from the others pic off the tiny pollen pods/sacks and keep it going until its ready. It will still be a great smoke.

thanks cataract...i cut these off with my trimmers last night...luckily none of these sacks were open yet from what i could see; they are awfully small. as long as these are removed, they can't grow back can they?

No the ones you have cut off wont grow back but othes will appear. They are hard to spot as they get tucked in with the buds. Is it small bannana shaped and yellow couloured pods you see like this close up.

your plant is doing that as a defense mechanism to survive. its last act of defense is to pollinate itself late in flower. all marijuana plants do this. some later/earlier than others. the seeds you would've gotten would have been femanized. this is the technique the breeder Soma uses to get his female seeds, so i've heard. i woulda just let them stick around ;)

That is completelly untrue. The plant has reversed its sex (sexual reversal) and has nothing to do with any plants defence system. Its to do with the genetics of the seed and nothing else.

well the seeds didn't come from a reputable company..i bought these from a well know dispensary in West Hollywood so who knows what the genetics are but i'll keep looking to see if new male flowers develop.

thanks for that pic cataract...thats exactly what i was trying to take a picture of. After searching and reading stuff on the web and forums i see people call these nana's or bananas...they certainly look like bananas :)

they kinda look like lilies...this is the part that popps open and pollen comes out?

Yes the are like tiny pea pods that open and relase the pollen and yes they usually get called "nanners" Or bannanas.
Good luck.
