hey just wondering how often you had to adjust your pH
The AG tablets have a buffer so you can't adjust the pH when you use those nutes. But for the flush, I just made several gallons worth of pH adjusted water, and I cleaned the rez and filled with that and I've been adding that every time the rez gets low. But that's just b/c i used the AG tablets. If you try to adjust pH with those tablets, you'll ruin your plants b/c of the buffer.

nevermind u jsut chopped the herm
Yea just the herm, b/c I noticed the seeds in it. The tall female doesn't appear to have seeds but I'm sure I'll find a few.

Anyways, the herm was 14 weeks from seed/ 9 weeks flowering. It was a piece of shit plant, so I really don't care if it comes down. Pure indica so I'm sure it was done, but I didn't yield shit off of it. I'm hoping for some decent weight off this other lady.

15 Weeks from seed/10 Weeks flowering.
Okay, so she's been flowering for 70 days now. That's 70 days since I saw the first flower. Flushed for the past two weeks, and today was when I had planned to harvest. They still don't seem quite ready yet. The trichs are all cloudy, and I really don't see much amber going on. The pistils are also still about half way changing too. I don't think I'm going to chop quite yet, but what do you guys think? Maybe cut off 1 sample bud? Also, how much longer do you guys think it will be until she's really ready?

it looks like it would have kept going for a few more weeks if you hadn't started flushing it. i see a lot of new growth but it needs food. but if you feed it then it will most likely finish before you can flush it again. now it will just start dying due to lack of nutes. it looks really good but i would have waited a few more weeks on the flushing.

Yea, that makes sense. Two weeks ago I opened a thread about if I should flush, and the consensus pretty much said yes...so I went with it. Either way it looks like good smoke and smells great. So, given that I flushed a bit early, should I harvest soon (in the next few days) or just keep it going for a few more weeks? If I have to add nutes and chop before I have time to flush again that would be fine. They are organic, and I doubt they'll make it taste too harsh.

Alright well I went ahead and harvested the top half, and I'll leave the bottom nugs a little longer. I'm really happy with the harvest so far. I smoked a sample, and it's really good. Just needs to be dried and cured for that smell/taste I want. After cutting it down, I got a better look at the trichs, and there were much more amber than I thought. In fact, this weed gives you that body high that lasts for a few hours. I weighed the top cola wet for fun, and it was over 40g. So, hopefully that will be a half oz dry. I didn't weigh the rest of the middle nugs, but they are prolly a quarter or more wet. Hopefully with the rest of the plant harvested, I'll yield close to an ounce dry. THANKS RIU!!!

Week 16/11 Weeks flowering

I chopped down the second half last night. The whole plant is finally harvested. I actually put them in 48 hours of darkness before I harvested, and I have to admit, there was a lot more resin produced afterwards. I'd read about that on here, and just wondered if it was true or a myth. From my experience, it does make it put out more trichs and makes it overall more sticky. The room stank a lot worse after the 48 hours of dark also. I know it may be my imagination, but check out the pics... :blsmoke:

The first harvested half of the plant is already dry, and it's in jars curing now. I have a lot of leaf cuttings left, and I think i'm going to attempt to make some hash. I know it won't be much, but we'll see.

Wooooow... looks delicious... ive never heard that before, leaving the lights off for 48 hours be harvest.. i guess that makes sense...

With all that extra resin, you should freeze dry your leaves, buy a silk screen, and make some hashish for 420!

I just made my friend some hash with some old freeze dried leaves and the smaller buds at the bottom of his plant....

Great work man...

Im going to start a new journal after the game... (fuck kansas, and damn the tarheels by the way)... i believe i have at least two females so far... 2/5 is better than all males, so thats a plus

i'll keep ya posted

long time no talk W.O.W... i see you turned out just right.. that should make nice for 420 ehh... congrats man... I started another AG grow bout a month... need a little help with separateing the males from the females when the roots are grown together... any ideas???

heres the link to my thread

https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/63035-help-have-cut-males-roots.html

thanks man
When I removed my males, I pulled the roots apart. Some where stuck really bad, so I just cut them (the male part). I read on here somewhere that the lower roots aren't as sensitive as the ones that are growing thru the sponge. But after I cut, it took a lot of rinsing and regular cleaning the resevoir to remove the peices of dead roots that were tangled.
