People are people, if he didn't want (this is about him, not you) people smiling at the irony, he shouldn't have put that as his signature. It's a very simple concept. Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive

In your eyes i could be doing anything, this is about fdd not your personal opinion of the nature of peoples statements. If it hurts you so, have a word with your brother and tell him not to use signatures which invite irony in certain situations because it's making you upset. I could put "i'm untouchable" as my signature, would i have any right to be annoyed if people pointed out the irony should i be arrested, no. Make your bed and sleep in it i say

From what i've read from fdd, i'm pretty sure he is a smart enough man to be aware and accepting of the potential ramifications of his signature and to assume that a smile at the irony of his signature would upset him or annoy him, now that would be insulting him and his intelligence.

so wouldnt it be possible to play the two authorities off each other?
ie getting busted and say i was given permission by state to do it, and with out that permission i wouldnt have done it?

In a reasonable country, yes. But here in America, if you are busted federally there can be NO mention of any medical license or card or right or constitutional amendments whatsoever. It is simply not allowed to be brought up and you have to proceed as if there is no such thing as a medical law. Sad and more than a little rigged.
Also, they want to move him to Illinois at least in part because that's how they operate. Total blitzkrieg destruction...move you far away from anyone that can help. Their ultimate goal is to take everything he has worth money and squeeze a few more huge busts out of him. Sucks to be him right now.
