If it is the 'Other Tomato' that you bought, the stuff turns green and thins out/turns your water green when mixing after it goes bad. It should be a nice rich thick blood red and a couple of 'chunks' aren't a bad thing. Did you end up getting that 49$ gallon from ebay?
Yeah its chunky but its not thick, it seem thin to me. I emailed the guy gonna see what he says. Doesn't seem right to me though. It smells like something I've smelled before and its not good, lol.

Mine does sometimes get some chunks, I was told it's okay to have. As long as it's still deep rich red and thick, mine when it did go bad turned thin and green and got *REALLY* chunky, like chunk curdles of milk. But I do sometimes get a couple of whitish chunks in a brand new bottle, I think it is just the oat bran meal or something clumping together.

thanks BUD,this just goes to show you dont need 7,8,9,10 products..ever since i got ahold of HB and reading his grow journals my growing experince has been outstanding,i mean dont get me wrong i still have alot t learn..my total cost of my nutes was about maybee $80.00 @ the most, and they last me 2-3 grows you cant beat that with a bat..i used to spend alot of $$$ on nutes but discoverd i was getting ripped off..I hope this helps and you or other people that come across this understand you dont have to drop HUNDREDS of $$$ to get a quality product..

Maphisto thx for the tips, and yeah those are some shtanky looking nugs you had there.

As far as me using a ton of stuff, I'm not really using *that* much, and a whole lot of it I'm using b/c I just have it and need to use it, so I see no harm plus I think it's a winning combo, it's not an outrageous amount of things.

Here's what I've been giving every feeding as of late, into about 4.25 gallons of pure RO water, I run all if not most of the water through the plants and then (attempt to) catch all the runoff, which I just pour onto some other plant. They dispel probably I would say .6-1 gallon of the water, last time I fed it was closer to one gallon, I think how much I have in the bucket by the time I turn the RO spigot off is a factor too of course, anyway, here's the list:

5 ML Protekt
6 ML Bloom
6 ML MagPro
6 ML Floralicious +, which I didn't buy specifically for this grow, i had leftover from the last couple hydro runs I did, this stuff lasts.
20 ML FloraBlend, which I got a gallon of from the person that I bought the hydro gear from, so this I'm just trying to run through as well, like I said, I see no harm w/ this nute and at low levels.
1 ML Companion, which is a solution that contains a shitload of this one microbe, I forget the name I could look at the bottle to see, but I didn't buy this it was a kickdown from the hydro store for being a good customer so I figure why not use it, the particular microbe is not in other tomato, so I figured one more beneficial to add to the mix!
120 ML The Other Tomato, which has all these bacteria + molasses: other tomato 005.jpg and I mean I'm not seeing burn so why not. Though I don't know if I will be purchasing any more for the remainder of the grow, I think if I get anything it will just be a nice high quality molasses to feed what I should now have established in the soil from pouring so much on through the life time. I could see making this, someone told me how to it is real simple, it is just RO water w/ what is called 'lacto brew' and the other ingredients, it's probably just stirred together in a big bucket. I'll look into it.

But yeah, it's not like I'm getting all crazy like some people do with it, and I'm certainly not using 10 things, but 7 though still lol, but like I said for most of them when they run out w/ probably the exception of the floralicious + b/c I have seen the difference of leaf quality before and after using I will not be replacing.

I just remembered I actually have like another 4-5 bottles of things sitting in a drawer, but those are things that I definitely don't need to use, and if I was doing so then I would consider myself going a little overkill on it. I have GH FruitNFusion, GH DiamondNectar, Great White (which I pretty much only use once at very start when planting clones/seedlings etc, considering mixing it into soil in future grows), Humboldt Snow Storm, Humboldt Bushmaster (never used), Ph UP, PH Down, hygrozyme, GH Micro Grow and Bloom, basically all these things that I was using from when I was running hydro and before I discovered Homebrewers thread Dynagro vs Advanced Nutrients.

Wow to all the great comments!

Thanks every body! I definitely can't wait they are coming along so nice!

I cut a lower bud down last week and dried it/am curing it so by the time I'm ready to chop I should have a nice cure on it even though it is a premature bud and I will be able to at least smoke some of the plant while I tend to the rest; b/c yea even after 70 days of flowering it still is going to be like another week drying then another week+ of curing (doesn't even really begin to have that 'sweet' cure until like 2 weeks).

Thanks again guys! My secret if I had one is that I go way under on nutes; for example, here they are in their 50's now, and I'm only giving like 4 ml protekt, 4 ml bloom, 4 ml magpro, 6 ml floralicious +, 15 ml florablend, 1 ml 'companion', and now 1 tsp of molasses, and i gave last time but probably will not any more for the rest of the run 15 ml of hygrozyme. I mix all this into about 4.25 gallons of water, so the ppm is quite low compared to some growers out there.

The dry looking part of the leaf tips in some pics is NOT nute burn, it is from the oscillating fan having dried them out slightly. Nothing to worry about!

Awesome looking grow so far man, I just wanted to tell you that do not forgo a flush in favor of pushing your plants to the end, First off in the many grows I have done and been a part of I have Never seen a harvest size difference when someone didnt flush vs someone that did, But I can tell you this when you dont flush, you can taste it, you can smell it and it does make a real world difference on a smoke analysis, in unflushed bud the levels of heavy metals like Iron, Mag, and Boron is Hundreds of times higher than in flush bud, and trust me you dont want that shit in your lungs, Even if it help increase your yield you would still want to flush anyway and since it dosent increase your yield there is no point NOT to flush.
