2nd attempt at 1st grow...problems again :-(

exactly! ;)

so you see signs the N level is too high..that is what the orange-rust spots are?
Ok, thanks a lot for your input...the reason I do foliar spray h2o is it is verrry dusty (live on a dirt road/dirt driveway..etc.) and if I didn't, they'd be layered in dust crap in 2 days, and I always thought it was ghood to mist them w/ water..I had a thing of that superthrive, but was almost out, so I added the last of it to the thrive alive, and use only like 1-2 drops per litre of water.
And I usually only spray with that once a day, then 2x w/ reg Ph'd h2o.
The 5 bubblegums are ready (maybe..) to be in bigger pots, should I let them get more roots coming out of the bottom(as it stands, they have pretty white roots sticking out of all the pot bottom holee), they have copious amount of roots for 3 week olds..In fact, they have double the roots of a romulan grapefruit I had cloned like 6 weeks ago (and it is still pretty small).this gives me hope..
As I said, my son in law saw the rust colored spots and said "man u have to cut that shit off, it'll spread, he said a friend of his was fighting this "rust" though I do not see that listed anywhere as a disease, lol.
Just wanting opinions, that's all..after losing my 1st crop I am a bit hyper vigilant, perhaps...but I want these suckers to grow and make it.
I noticed one thing tonight, these 5 girls are smelly lil wenches, lol..my plants I had before were a good 12-16" and didn't put off any smell..these are def letting their terpines drift...and what a beautiful scent!
So even though they aren't as big as many 3 wk olds..I guess overall they are doing ok.I am only watering now...I gave them 200 ppm nutes once, and then this orange shit happened, so too much N makes you low on MN
I think I am even seeing the lil hairs showing they are female at the leaf junctions( I know that isn't it's botanical name lol) These were feminized seeds, which after buying, I have heard some bad things about..
One thing is guaranteed in growing weed, everyone has differing opinions, that is why i love RIU forums!
I am here to learn, and to make it to harvest, lol.
Also a great place to ease your mind if it's nothing, don't worry about it..
Thanks and happy growing..
only spray with water if you need to spray the dust off of em...don't add anything, those brown spots look odd to me? but your plants look way better now, than they did before :)

The latest spots referred to as "rust" appear to be contact damage. The spots seem to be random . Has anything fallen on them in the last week?

Has any "rust" spread to other plants and more leaves on the 2?

well, when I was lowering my T-5 back down, it did touch the tops of those 2 (after misting), BUT..those bulbs are warm only, I can touch them when they've been running all day and it's not "hot" to the touch, when I lower the lights usually I leave them a few inches above, but was aiming to get a bit closer, so yes, something touched the tops, long enough for me to kneel and look sideways, and see they were touching, then I raised them back up.Maybe 4 seconds, tops.
No the rust color is in the same area as it was (on one or two new growth tips/edges, and also 1 fan leaf below that.I finger of newest growth actually turned this color, then shriveled up and was dead. The other 3 bubble gums don't have it at all nor does the ice, and they were next to them so didn't have the lights actually touch when I put them too low.
Am trying to get them as much light as possible b/c they weren't doing too well as week old seedlings under 1000 k MH..I repotted the 2 biggest last night in their final homes (5 gal pots) which were both on the side that got touched by light, and when I went to sleep last night, the plants were well over 2-3" below lights, this morning a few leafs were touching around the lights again (but they were dry) so no new damage.
I wonder if the amount of heat it had and the fact the stuff I had just sprayed them with had iron/zinc in it if that's what happened.
Thanks so much for your insight.
Happy growing.

So now that they are almost 4 weeks (monday or tues) would they grow faster under the MH conversion bulb now..
I don't really want to run both lights (one for the seedlings one for the 3 week olds) but I will if they'll get that "explosive growth I hear so much about!!
I mean, according to all the feeding charts in my hydro book, 4 weeks is when you flip them over to flower, and mine don't even have side branches yet!
Though they did grow 2" overnight once at least, I had to raise the lights yest morning, they were all touching (with no damage)
I think if I could get their feeding schedules right, they might grow that much, according to these feeding charts, at 4 wks my plants should be over 1000 ppm on feedings!
Last feeding I gave them a bit over 200, and they did fine, well except those rust spots, and if that isn't nute burn, then I should still feed them?
The soil I use lists this on their website for whats in it:
INGREDIENTS: SASKATCHEWAN GROWER GRADE PEAT MOSS, PUMICE, ALBERTA PEAT MOSS, WORM BEDDING COMPOST, FARMYARD MANURE, DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (NATURAL SOIL INSECT CONTROL), DOLOMITE LIME FLOUR, LIMESTONE FLOUR, AGRICULTURAL GYPSUM, FERROUS SULFATE, SULFATE OF POTASH, AMMO-PHOSPHATE, CALCIUM NITRATE, TIME RELEASE FERTILIZER, ESSENTIAL W.A. & GROWTH STIMULANT AND WETTING AGENT.
wow all that for 6.50 a cub ft.! I think this has better stuff than that formula 707 stuff I started out using, but it was 48 bucks for 2.5 cub ft.

wow it does have time release fert in it, that is what those little balls are, was wondering. That makes it hard 2 tell how much they need, you never know what the "time frame" is in the time release stuff.I like that it has that diatomaceous earth in it, have read that will keep bugs from breeding in it, tears em up if they hatch and try to come out.

but veg perios is way longer, right? I mean...they are 4 weeks tomorrow, and FAR from being able to go to 12/12.
So should I wait a lil longer, or ya think they are big enough to do well under MH now?
Updated pics...didn't notice till I looked at the pics but looks like something was nibbling on one of the bubbles?
Hopefully it's something else...I didn't see any bugs anywhere, and I looked them over well just now...only saw the last 2 ladybugs from when I ordered 1500 last month
Let me know what ya think, only prob I am seeing is one of the bubbles (next to the chewed lookin one, #1) has the lil blades on leaf edges starting to point up(bubble#2)...think I read someplace that may be a heat issue, so I turned the heater off..
Happy week everyone..
greatttt, several of them look like something is munching on them, damnit! I see no bugs, but neem oil won't hurt them at this age will it, just in case a bug or two got in the room?
