ZERO chance, just like Ron "the bigot" Paul won ZERO EC in 88 and won ZERO states in 08. He is a ZERO, like his rabid fanatic supporters.

what about gary johnson? why do i see so much ron paul this and ron paul that, and dismissal of gary johnson when we bring him up?

besides not having fanatical supporters, i like GJ becuse he has a proven record of fighting for gay rights and a woman's right to choose. a TRUE libertarian.
You think Ron Paul could never be president and then you suggest Gary Johnson? That is even more hopeless...

so what is the difference in being a bigot who does not want big gov and legalize or reschedule cannabis and put power back into the state rather then fed and a president who wants to keep the american people from protesting or rising up against the US gov and who signed our rights away on the new NDAA and SOPA and who has flip flopped on a lot of things he promised us with "CHANGE"?
That is what I would really like to know..they have yet to explain it..why do they support obama and hate paul so much..All i see is yellow journalism, conspiracy, strawman arguments...can we get some non-retarded resons? I am not convinced you guys actually believe this stuff.
for the Nth time: do you honestly believe that congress will pass legislation re-legalizing cannabis because ron paul gets elected?

do you honestly believe that they are coming to take you away now that NDAA is signed? why would they take you away? are you laundering money for terrorist networks?

the hyperbole makes no sense to me.

please find where i said he could be president.

my point was in rebuttal to your response of "who else could you support?"

i'd say a former governor with a proven executive record is more viable than a septuagenarian who spent 32 years in congress and got one bill passed that whole time, all the while being the butt of every joke.

what i want to know is why you are so fanatical about paul, but dismiss johnson? they are BOTH libertarians.

No and No

Thats not the point...Its about the rule of law and the foundation of the United States of America and the Constitution...contrary to your belief the people that aren't terrorist should be the most concerned about this.

lastly...these aren't the only two reasons..not even close...

  • i'm no fan of NDAA or SOPA, but i feel they are being completely overblown.

you know, my old history and government professors say the same thing. What i dont understand is, if was not such a big deal in the first place, why was there a major media blackout on these two issues?

also, the provisions are very broad. I try to not miss John stewart, i like to get my political news from his show cause i believe he provides the few that watch, the truth about our political figures and what they are trying to do.. I think i heard it on there that being so broad, the provision is said to target those who own guns, buy ammunition, who do agriculture work (fertilizer) who protest and so on... i dont know man, but that seems like a big deal to me...

  • i am not the type of person that is going to piss my pants at the mention of those two acronyms.

i was not attempting to make you "piss your pants". I just want to get different opinions as i have been with my professors. Still, you are not addressing the main thing,

why would you support someone with a belief in which atheism is frowned upon? Why not support someone who also believes that there is no God which relate to you completely and the fact of the whole rescheduling of cannabis? why do you still think obama will re-legalize cannabis if he has already done otherwise by cracking down on the industry?

Yet another lie, not everyone that knows how BAD Ron "the bigot" Paul is supports obama.

dude, what i have thought of for a while is, why since most historians and political figures mention "history repeats itself", why do people continue to vote republican and democrat?

why not give another party a chance? who knows, maybe they are the key to brining this country back to where it was before all this greedy politicians fucked us all over for their own personal growth?

why play silly? you know what i meant by crackdown. as in shutting down dispensaries and continued schedule 1 on cannabis.

also, why do not address the rest of post?

that one statement does not answer for the entire post...

i recall the holder memo, but i do not recall the obama crackdown.

enlighten me.

what i do not get ub, is you are all for gay rights and women rights which i am too, but you are hoping that a president who has signed our rights away and you know he has, for a second term, why? how is the NDAA constitutional? to hold without due process, the last i remember, that was part of our bill of rights and americans are subject to it...

what about gary johnson? why do i see so much ron paul this and ron paul that, and dismissal of gary johnson when we bring him up?

I'll tell you why, in regards to the libertarian party:

Most Americans REJECT their platform is why. You'll want to knw why that is too so...

Nobody votes for libertarians (like Ron "stormfront" Paul) because they're half-liberal. They're only fiscally conservative and the liberals hate them for that. We Conservatives won't tolerate a social liberal RINO even if they are fiscally conservative.

So, you see, the problem is libertarians alienate too many Americans with their platforms. I agree with SOME of the things libertarians are for but not enough to accept the retarded stuff.

The end.

frankly, i did not get the whole atheism tangent.

as far as the crackdowns go, obama did not order them and in my state they were initiated by STATE AG's, and only took out a few clubs that were nowhere near in compliance with the law.

they left all the other ones alone that were operating in the semi-legal gray zone.
