Marijuana on ship in international waters

I am new here... just have a quick question... I was wondering about the legalities of growing and consuming marijuana on a boat/ship that is in international waters?

In this currently hypothetical scenario, the ship would be off the coast of the United States, would be registered to another nation, and would not ever come to port in the United States or any other marijuana hostile area.

I would think the laws from the ships country of origin would apply....sooner or later its gonna be sailing to a port or within that countries water space. Just my thoughts though.

If you want to live on a boat it could be done, number #1 issue is Fresh Water, can't feed em the salt water, so you will need to purify it.

Now, for my best hack,.... I am thinking, 1. Don't be so paranoid you buzzkill yourself while on a boat in international waters. 2. If shit gets real, throw the plant and any paraphenalia overboard. If the ship is bug enough, nobody, I say, nobody is stopping the ship to recover some buds. The paraphenalia will soon be on the bottom. If it's a small boat, and I cannot see too many of those that far out. (perhaps Cuba) toss it while running for a mile or two. Not finding that.

Well, you could be held to the laws of the country from which the boat originates. And according to the U.N., anyone with the hardware capable of arrest could take jurisdiction in to their own hands. It's a fight you will not win. International does not equal immune.
And when it comes to the high seas, ALL regions are marijuana hostile.

Well, my initial thought was to get a small ship/large boat (or old barge) and fix it up, with space for 10 or so hotel room like cabins... hot tub, small eatery, bar and some growing room - then use a smaller bat to bring people out for a "high times vacation" or something. No big operation, but just tossing ideas around and am wondering about the legalities.

England sold an old aircraft carrier not long ago, I was curious about the same thing. I've also heard someone bought an old offshore drilling rig in international waters and made it a fortified home.
