400 Watt Soil Grows

i got a easyryder (lowryder #2 x ak47) and another critical jack right now.
they are around 4 weeks in, and starting to form pistals, but the thing is i never fed them nutes. they could be a lot bigger. buuuut the upside is its my first grow, and im learning a lot. im not stupid lol i just didnt have the time and money to invest in this first grow, and my impatience got the best of me so i went ahead and started.

im realy excited that an autoflower thread got started!
peace and happy growing!

I currently have a 400w soil grow going on in a 6x5x5 area but I may have to stop it and start back up in a few weeks....im hoping not because it would be alot of time lost but ya gotta do what ya gotta do

I've got a couple of lowryders in bat guano. The fan leaves are turning yellow, then brown and then drying and falling off. It is occurring just after they start to flower. Is this normal? giving them 18 hours light and about 1 litre of water a day. I've not got my pH meter yet so i have no idea as to that. They have only just begun to flower. Any help is very much appreciated.

havent been on here in forever but saw your post and just had to respond so you can save your plants...

STOP watering them so much... and or so often... sorry to seem so abrupt but that is just way too much water... if you want to a better watering method would be to just water enough if in a pot just enough all over till all of the soil is moist and just dripping a little out of the bottom of the pot... if outdoors or indoors test same as this>>> then generally only until the top 3-5 inches of the soil is dry to the touch and or the leaves start to "droop a little" then rinse and repeat...

dont worry about them dying of thirst (roots are really good at finding moisture out of soil and also this will train them to have good growth and when flowering starts the roots will be able to soak up nutrients like a mo fo and then you will be able to get huge buds from a strong root system because of this which most people forget that is how to get the biggest buds...

also if the soil is drying up that fast then it is either too hot in there or "out there wherever you have them"

considering you have them in "bat guano" the fact that you keep them on that type of watering schedule you are also releasing WAY too much fertiliser (depending how strong your guano is) to the roots and it is "burning" your plants...

This is all of course just a random presumption based upon the info you gave... so without any pictures or complete description of your growing setup... you wont be able to get the best and most complete answer.

hope this helps some ;)

this is some goos stuff man, glad you chimed in! What would you say to an auto gow that has no nutes? ive been watering every few days now but a pretty small amount.. maybe half a liter to both little guys.. they are 4 weeks in (easyryder is 6" and critical jack is maybe 10"), been adding lemon juice to the water because even without pH readings, i think the lemon juice helps since they used to be yellowy before i started adding it. now they are both a healthy green. my only concern is one, bud size, and two, the easyryder has a few leaves that are half very bright yellow and half regular dark leaf color. ... this is genetic, but extremely wierd considering its split right downt the center of it!
let me know what you all think!!
